That is what you heard. We were down that way this afternoon and swung by the airport. They were trying to get the Harrier through the gate from the parking lot to the ramp but its not quite wide enough. I talked to Art Nalls and he was trying to get permission to remove part of the fence.
He said they towed it on the landing gear Thursday night with no problems. He thinks he lost hydraulic pressure due to a problem with the windshield wiper! Most of the parts to repair the damage have already been received from someplace in England so he hopes to have it flying again soon.
He seems like a pretty nice guy. We were sitting in the truck watching and he came over and told us to come on over and get a closer look at the plane and explained all of the damage and how much fun it was landing at PAX!
