About a dozen that airburst at 10,000 feet should do nicely.
Hopefully the Brits will do that and then some here soon....ylexot said:I still say that we don't need to go to war with Iran...we can take out their nuke sites in under a day.

We wont do anything, we have been neutered from within.Kerad said:Agreed.
Too many go to the extreme of "War against Iran". We don't need a war to keep them from getting nukes. The USAF and USN can take care of any nuclear ambitions they have without one soldier or marine stepping on Iranian soil.
However...we better have the Iraqi boarder sealed up prior to strikes. Something we haven't been able to do in 4 years.

Everyone knows 5000 feet will suffice.
Because we both know that because the federal government wont fund research on new lines of embryos all research must stop.Kerad said:

A sad irony.

Anyway it is true. We have been neutered from within. Every rag tag 2 bit jerk-off government in the world now knows we can't stop fighting amongst ourselves long enough to stop anyone from whatever diabolical plans they have.
It is amazing how fast Iran has rolled over to our tersely worded rebuke of their attempts at nuclear fuel isn't it?

Instead the Democrats are going to make a political show out of Iran.Pete said:We wont do anything, we have been neutered from within.
Your name says it.Idiot said:Keep it in you pants, Georgie.
Excuse me... Mr. Georgie.
It is pantywaists like you that are leading the U.S. into our next Vietnam. I saw it happen in the 60's and, since I was an ignorant Democrat at the time, I cheered like you and forestool and your DU friends do now. I grew up. Maybe you will. I hope you do. Then you will look back and realize what ignoramuses you are.Kerad said:

The sad irony is believing you are going to to lose and ****BINGO**** low and behold you do.Kerad said:

You can try to blame W. for this all you want, but this all started with the USS Pueblo and our impotent response. Since then we have done almost nothing to show rogue states, terrorist sponsors, and terrosrist organizations that there are consequences to their actions.Kerad said:Our (meaning the U.S.') bark has lost much of it's power, due to our weakened status due to Iraq.

Why would Iran think they face any consequences? When they took our embassy, we did nothing but immolate a few of our own airmen. Once Ronnie took over, they handed over the hostages, but they still got away with it.
There has only been one occasion where we actually did what needed to be done in the last 40 years: the bombing of Libya stopped Qaddafi.
In this case the dem and pub, right and left, conservative and liberal politicians are all equally ineffective. Politicians have become so scared to do anything wrong that they refuse to do anything right.
I was going to put Afghanistan in. It did start right...... If only we had finished it.Kerad said:You're spot on with pretty much everything you've written here. I'll just add that we were on the right track with Afghanistan...until we lost focus.
The UN security council yesterday released a statement expressing its "grave concern" at the capture of the sailors and marines. However, the wording of the statement was weaker than Britain had hoped after council members, notably Russia, balked at a draft that asked for the Britons' immediate release and stated that the navy boats were in Iraqi waters.
