Melanie didn't wreck. I'm curious to know how closely Ashley's wreck resembled Medlen's. That car shook all over the place, then hit the wall after it spun completely around. They were saying last night that the padding in the helmet (installed after Eric's death) definitely saved her from extensive injuries. They also had some kind of device in the car or helmet and downloaded the date to gain other information. That's pretty cool.

I don't mind auto racing with roofs on cars. Like I said, the Sports car/ prototype racing series are awesome. NASCAR just doesn't appeal to me because the cars are way down the totem pole as far as performance and technology goes.

In my experience, the faster the car, the harder it is to drive fast.
In my opinion, the pussies are the guys that spend their lives criticizing race drivers, and watching racing instead of doing it. When you actually get on a track and race, then your opinion might count for something.

I don't follow IRL much, but I do recall some of the drivers crying because her small size/weight gave her an "advantage" over them. If that's the case, then I can just hear Jimmy Spencer, Kenny Schraeder or Michael Waltrip getting pissy with Kasey Kahne for being so tiny.
