Mmmmmm... Baskin Robbins... Between a Baskin Robbins and the Chipotle, I'm gonna gain some serious weight! :jameo:

I think it was the Forever Eden store that used to be the Baskin Robbins. I remember they had those old school desks in there. Wow... that was forever ago. Does anyone remember the Carvel that used to be next to Ames (which is not Roses)? Mmmmmm... Carvel soft serve with rainbow sprinkles... Sorry. I'll shut up now.

ive never seen a baskin robbins and dunkin donuts together before, oh that would be really cool!!

and the BR in the park was there 8 years ago, ive known my kids dad for 8, and my friends and i (including him) walked around lexington park and we were all discussing wanting to buy it when we were older- and it was still open then. it closed VERY shortly after, though. i have an 8yo brother, and i got him a kiddy cone there once, he was at the most 2, probably one, but it was right before it closed.

that would be REALLY cool, i have tried to go to the ie cream place..crap, i dont remember the name of the little strip, in leonardtown? by a food lion and a hair cut place. ugh. anyway, they have 2 sets of store hours up. so aggravating! LOL

im really sorry about all the posts, im still used to a bb set up, and i cant remember how to multi quote for anything, ive done it once on the forum i frequent thats not this one but is set up almost exactly the same.... and dont quite know how i did it when i did.

anything else new going up?
What about next to BJ's or behind staples? Also looks like they are clearing land across 235 from Lowes and across from EMA.

The Lexington Park-California area hasn't had a true scoop shop for many years - the liquor store next to Big Lots was a BR more than 20 years ago.

No it was not. The BR was around the corner and down the sidewalk towards the Underground. I don't do that part of the Park after dark. It's where the nappy head ho's go. :yay:

i dunno, ive just never seen any signs, maybe theyre invisible to my mindy eyes! hehe..but then, noone else i know has seen it either. strange. none of us go out ll that much right now, maybe thats why?
I've never seen any signs either. I've never heard of a Chipolte's before, but y'all have some good thoughts on it, so it sounds like a good place to try!

I hope DD goes up fast too, I'm only here for another year, and I love the place, their coffee is better than Starbucks, but that's my thoughts.

Wrong! Baskin Robbins was around the cornor from the liquor store. A liquor has alway been in the same spot.

you know, going in where dash in was in front of cedar point FCU on 235 in california?

iveheard around town sonic (which i know theres not enough room...) and another smaller fast food place, and then a couple more sit down restaurants. i dont see any signs there anymore about what it is, or at least the few times ive gone out of my house the past few weeks, so i was just curious since hearing all the contradictory stuff around here lately!!

oh btw, does anyone know if there will be a sonic anywhere near here any time soon?

I was down that way Sunday. It's nothing but brick now. :howdy:

there was a sign that read "chipotle coming soon" prior to them doing a little demo and then building; maybe they just moved the sign because it was in the way because if i remember correctly it was attached to the pre-existing concrete.

Chipotle burritos are the single greatest food on Earth. Can't wait!

Can't wait to gain some weight! lol! Their food tastes pretty good, but is pretty fattening. Chipotle doesn't dare to post nutritional data on their website. I got the nutrition information below from chipotlefan.com for a burrito. You can go there and change what you want on a burrito, taco, etc. to see its nutritional information.

Here is your Nutritional information for a 13" Burrito with Rice, Pinto Beans, Steak, Rice, Tomato Salsa, Cheese, Sour Cream, Lettuce, and Chips.
Calories: 2045
Total Fat: 80g
Saturated Fat: 27g

There used to be a sweet shop that sold candy and ice cream that was located behind Big Lots and in the same shopping strip as the Dollar Store and the old pet shop. It was called Sweet Surprises, if my memory is correct.

The Baskin Robbins was located in that same complex of stores, but in the storefront very near the liquor store and Eckard Drugstore.

Yeah, it's probably not a good idea to eat there every day. Or even every week. But an occasional treat can't be nearly as bad as a daily Starbucks fix. Especially considering the burritos are so big that they cover 2 of my meals for the day.

The best part though is the Chipotle poop which inevitably follows. Everything comes out in the exact same shape it went in. Sans foil, of course. :yay:

And what purpose does it serve for you to have mentioned that?

That was just plain gross. :barf:

You are correct. I believe the sign actually said, "We're being burritofied."

So we've got a Chipotle, the rumor of a Baskin Robbins, and I believe I saw rumor of a Sonic? I guess I should start buying bigger pants now, eh? I just generated my favorite Chipotle burrito's nutrition facts over at ChipotleFan.com (thanks for the link, mdgirlie!) and woooooahhh. That's like half of the day's calories! :shocking:

Hey, I'm just trying to convey the total Chipotle experience.

Beside, if I didn't prompt you, how else would you and BS Gal shamelessly up your post counts? It's all for your benefit, really. Help me help you. :smooch:

Thanks for the correction. I remembered it as being in that general area.

NO Sonic... read earlier in the thread.... The Fredricksburg VA Sonic is currently training a franchisee who will be opening 40 in Pennsylvania. I never said anything about Maryland.
