All this because of those muslims who we are supposed to be tolerant of? I say we take the rules of engagement and burn them and show the troops this video of how little kids are treated because of those terrorists...

I don't have the proper temperament to let my daughter go through that.

I don't have sound at work so I'll wait to fully comment but I don't see where the kid was mistreated. No, it's not likely she was carrying a bomb but the screeners have a job to do to. Terrorists do strap bombs to kids.

Also seems awful suspicious that someone just happened to be recording with their cell phone.

I used to fly three or four times a year. I don't anymore. This is getting just rediculous.
Didn't Benjamin Franklin say something to the effect: If you give up a bit of liberty for some perceived security, you end up neither more free or more safe?

I found it rather disturbing that you are expected to let some stranger grope your child.

Believe me, it wont be too long before someone takes down one of the TSA employees for improper touching.

I don't either; her parents said she was in a bad mood, as kids can be in those situations. On the other side, at one point the agent reaches out to grab the girl, which caused the girl to scream again. As they say in the video, agents are allowed - advised, even - to use personal discretion in situations such as that. Make it a game for the kid, or something so they will not hate the whole procedure.

"Those who sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither." The "deserve" being the key difference.

Well there is that too. It's a fine line these muslim animals have drawn for us. Seems like there would be a scanner they could use for children and if it goes off, they can be taken to a room with the parents and appropriate gender agent to investigate further. Even then there are no guarantees.

Part of what you missed by not having sound is the fact the little girl set off the alarms twice. That buys a hand-pat-down for anyone in a U.S. airport. Had they not been in a hurry to get to their gate, the family might have taken her for an ice cream to calm her down but most don't allow that much time to their arrival at the airport and departure.

Can't think of the last time a 3 year old girl blew up a plane though. Or for that matter, an eighty your old black women or a middle aged clean cut white guy.

:shrug:

Their job should be to screen the crap out of those who pose the largest threat. Not lieelt American girls. But, we can't be hurting feelings, can we? :rolleyes:

If you screened this way Eric Holder would take you court and sue your life away using all the resources available to the Federal Gubment.

I agree this is a disgusting thing that has to be done! Unfortunatly their are people who would strap something on their child to get through detectors, drugs, gases, and even bombs. It is very sad but this is what it all has come down to. I was watching the news this morning and they said now children under 12 will not have to be searched- an open invitation to all these crazy people who dont care enough about their children. If it really bothers you dont fly, but I am glad they are taking the extra precautions although like everything else they will get lazy with it again until something happens.

Next time that any of us fly, we should strip down completely, hand the screeners a tube of KY so they can fap away and stroll on through the metal detector.

If everyone has to go through the new scanners then there is no way on earth that these low wage power tripping rent a cops need to be laying a finger on anybody. It's not like they leave much to the imagination.

That is so true! let everyone go through these you wouldnt need anyone touching anyone!
