I see a child acting like a brat. I see a security officer doing their job.

a child that most likely has been taught that strangers should not touch her.
See, if you were a pumpkin ale connoisseur, you'd have caught Psy's post. The question I think everyone missed, and no, I didn't read the entire thread, is:
Are terrorists or other evildoers capable of using children to carry bombs onto airplanes? Do they have a sense of responsibility and fair play that precludes them from using children as expendable bomb carriers?
If they can, and will use children then we have to defend against it. If they get an inkling that we don't inspect children, or screen children like we do adults, it won't be long before they try it.
So, in that case, if you don't like the way the TSA is attempting to protect us, how do you propose they do it?
I'm surprised no one has posted this yet.
The child was with her mom, who is a trusted person. Not exactly a "stranger danger" situation if you ask me.![]()
Have to wonder what they are telling/ teaching their daughter for her to react that way when Mom is present.
I get the Stranger Danger, and touching in bad places, but holy hell that kid has some therapy coming in her future.

Bob was razzin me b/c I said I had the best pumpkin ale last week. He's never had it and doesn't know how good it is.

Next time that any of us fly, we should strip down completely, hand the screeners a tube of KY so they can fap away and stroll on through the metal detector.
I saw the child acting fine up until miss hands started rubbing down the child.

Her dad (the reporter) said that the tantrum started when she had to put her teddy bear through the X ray machine.
well what do you think the average 3 year old is going to do when you snatch her teddy bear from her?
She does not understand, all she knows is that some stranger took her bear and its leaving her.
 I've actually had the pleasure of having to put my 3 year old's teddy through the X-ray machine and it was a non-issue. He was more miffed about having to remove his shoes. I can understand that it was probably scary for her, but they followed procedure and her mother was right there the entire time. Neither of her parents stepped in to question what was happening, so they obviously felt it was okay. 3 year old children are highly volatile creatures.well what do you think the average 3 year old is going to do when you snatch her teddy bear from her?
