Yup. but it's already been downgraded to a Cat 2. At that rate, we'll be lucky to feel a breeze by the time Friday rolls around.

Hard to tell, it has yet to hit the gulf stream, which will strengthen it...how much, no clue...but I still think if its still a hurricane by Thursday, it will be cat 1 or downgraded to a trop.

Geez...

Can you imagine what a downer a "Tropical Depression Party" would be?

What a low thing to even think about, though it wouldn't have much pressure to it.

I think it will intenstify later tonight/early tomorrow morning once it clears that front its banging heads with and gets over the warmer Gulf Stream waters. Cat 2 on impact with the Carolinas.

Gee, couldn't you wait a half an hour and give us the latest?

It's looking more and more like it's only going to side-swipe us.

I agree with what you say Ken. Hopefully it will continue banging heads with that front though. If not it could possibly turn 10 degrees to the right and make landfall on the Delmarva Peninsula.

What sucks is that it is supposed to hit here about 2 a.m. on Friday. That means somebody has to stay up and keep track of the storm.
