If I may ...
Well, it appears my view is contrary to many here. The major issue I have is that it took the machinations in the 1800's, the skulduggery, the Balfour Declaration, the League of Nations, the orchestration of two world wars, with the support of the US, and without the consideration of the inhabitants of the time, (the Palestinians, or Arabs, or however you want to describe), to force the annexation, cutting out sections of Palestine by stealing their lands and property and giving it the zionists. Instead of just just moving to someplace in Palestine and buying property like normal people, they forced themselves upon the land with the use of force and with the full support of, and by, more powerful nations. Regardless of the argument that, "it's their promised land". They could have easily moved there and bought land and built homes and businesses over time, and slowly integrated. Paying their way, working their way, earning their way. But no, like thieves in the night, they had it stolen for them, by others.
So? What's the first thing they did when they were given the green light in 1947 to take over Palestine? A civil war against the Palestinians. Of course the zionists called it the War of Independence (1947-1949). And ever since then, just more wars and lots more killing and more stealing of Palestinian land.
Before there was relative peace in Palestine. Being ruled by numerous groups over time, including the Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Fatimids, Seljuk Turks, Crusaders, Egyptians and Mamelukes. And lastly by the Ottoman empire. Then somehow the British get to lay claim after WWl and took control. Which was the beginning of the end for Palestine as the machinations in the 1800's come to fruition.
You all have been to programmed by the constant propaganda since your births, you can't see the history in front of you.
