It wasn't just us Americans, (the English). Do not forget that much of what is now the USA, was purchased from France, Spain, Great Britain, Mexico and Russia. And though we are part guilty of acquiring these lands sometimes by hostile means, it is nowhere near on the level of the hostility and carnage pressed upon the Palestinians by Zionists in already fully occupied lands beginning in the modern civilization times of 1947.
The only way to make peace possible in the middle east - force the Zionists into the sea to make a zionist free Palestine possible. When England and Lloyd-George, about a 100 years ago, was coerced, by the zionists, to allow the zionists to start settling in Palestine it was grave mistake which can only be corrected by evicting the zionists. The last 100 years evidences how the zionists are incapable of orderly coexistence with its neighbors and thus to make a broken situation whole take out the broken part - the zionists.
Different circumstances. Trade was initiated, bargains made, paying for land, working with the local inhabitants, a true effort to get along. In addition, it wasn't just England that sent explorers/settlers. The Spanish were among the first Europeans to explore the New World and the first settlement in what is now the United States in what is Florida in 1564, (With the first arrival of Spanish explorer and adventurer Juan Ponce de León in 1513). Involved as well was Portugal and France. There was no immediate, or want of, war set upon the native inhabitants to steal their land.

My hope: The Iranians finish building their nukes (they will). They launch some at Israel ( they will). The Israelis respond by wiping out most of those sand scum low life desert dwellers that they've put up with for too long. Game over.
