Watkins Glen..them boys do pretty good..or Sonoma

... and Montreal in Nationwide which has been THE best NASCAR race both times they've run there.

ARCA also races at New Jersey Motorsports Park which is one of the most challenging circuits in America.

I would think F1 to NASCAR would be considered a demotion by the drivers.

How has it worked out going the other way? Any successful NASCAR drivers in F1?

Why would any NASCAR drivers go into F1?

Why would they even want to go into F1?

This is just the begining. More teams will be folding, attendance will drop like a rock because people will not be able to spend $1,000 to go for a race weekend, TV rating will drop and they will be reduced to a 20 car field, 4 cars each from Rousch, Hendrick, Gillete/Evernham, Gibbs and Childress.

It's comparable to driving a Yugo and trading up to a Ferrari.. You may want to, but nobody is going to let you.

And you want to tell me how many people in North America watch F1. :hint: Nobody.

Plus, there's only gonna be about 10 cars in F1 next year. Talk about a snoozefest.:snooze:

NASCAR isn't the only motorsport that's screwed. Honda just pulled out of F1, Audi pulled out of the American Le-Mans Series, and GM pulled factory support of NHRA teams.

Ford is going to have to drop it, Chrysler is going to be defunct by the end of 2010 and gone. It just might be the Toyota Cup soon.

I think Roush, Hendrick and Childress could run without factory support.

The endless argument.
Apples and oranges

Tell me...How many people in the world watch NASCAR?
F1 has a much larger stake in the world. F1 will continue on with the 20-22 car fields next year.
In my opinion the ALMS and the SPEED GT series are the best to watch in North America. Both offer actual "stock" based cars and the ALMS contest some of the fastest and most technologically advanced prototype cars in the world. A NASCAR couldn't even hang with a GT1 classed car of the ALMS.
NASCAR contains a few very talented drivers. Unfortunately the cars they drive are a pathetic example of a race car.
