Why did you rewrite Bob's post? He never said anyone (black, white, whatever) should "forget" slavery; he said people need to "MOVE on". As in, drop the anger, hostility and bitterness over something generations past, something that can not be altered. When blacks today wish to use slavery as a justification for white hate, and moreover, a reason to commit acts of violence they need to be called out for what they truly are: cheap, disgraceful thugs and criminals. They are betraying their own past by using the issue as a means of personal advancement and enjoyment. And people like you are willing to give them air-time.

In England Queen Elizabeth was a protestant daughter of Henry the 8th and no protestant wanted the Catholic Queen of Scots on any thrown. The Scots were deeply protestant too by that time. But Mary of Scots thought more about taking power from Elizabeth then about raising her son James, so the royal Scottish house raised little James up as a protestant and so most every protestant was happy when Mary lost her head and her protestant son became King James VI of Scotland and King James I of England thus creating the United Kingdom of Great Britain and making it protestant forever more.
