What would help is if 10% of the people celebrating in Milwaukee had the balls to stand up to the douchebags that started this, but they find it more entertaining to watch than to actually do anything.

Why aren't Reverend AL, and the Reverend Jesse Jackson calling these people out? Why aren't they raking their own across the coals?? Nothing is going to change until their self appointed leadership starts holding their own accountable.

By your theory, the people selling the slaves in Africa hold the same (if not more) responsibility. It was grossly wrong, it was fixed (eventually), it's over. I feel for every person of ancestors who were slaves. Like, the Jews under the Egyptians. Throughout history almost EVERY race or nationality has been held captive by another and used as slaves. A lot of times race creed or nationality didn't matter, you were taken and used as a slave just so someone else could have a free workforce.. Saying blacks were the only people in the history of the world to suffer this injustice is ignorant.

Slavery against prisoner criminals is not the same thing. We still have criminals in prisons as slaves now today. It is even specifically authorized in the US Constitution that criminals are exempt from the anti slavery amendment.

The Scottish people were never British nor American slaves by their race. In fact it was the Scottish that took control over England creating the United Kingdom under King James - the son of Mary the Queen of Scots.
