it's not worth it

Whoa now, I thought this was the gal who was engaged here. That was quick!

And you are right janey, you can't trust anyone these days. When you find the one you can trust, then he's a keeper. I learned a whole lot about trust when my wifey went whacko. Love can't exist in a house without trust.

You might want to stay away from the ones that look like some one just scraped them off the bottom of a shoe. You know, the MTV clone, I'm tooo sexy for my (fill in the blank), look at ME-look at ME types. If you need help screening let me know.

 There's a lot of truth to this, Chasey.

Me? I'm just sitting here thinking to myself: Geez, what complicated and unnecessary webs we weave!

I agree with that. I've always avoided the devastatingly handsome type. The average looking guy normally has a much better personality which makes him much hotter.

I've had it, guys aren't worth it. All they do is make women miserable.
Must be dating the wrong guys.

I'm not trying to bash you :)wink:), but I think the problem is, like Pete said, people try to stick with one type of guy, and it doesn't work out. Chances are, if you dated one guy, then moved onto another guy who had some of the same personality traits, he's going to (a) treat you the same, and (b) get on your nerves just as much, if not more. Give up for awhile, meaning don't worry about guys, don't look for a boyfriend, don't get giddy whenever some Eminem wannabe hollas at you. Eventually you'll find someone who is worthy of your trust.

Only because the man liked it. Smart people don't stay with people who make them miserable.

Janey... you can't give up yet... with any luck, you too will be posting in the Announcements "Love Letters" section with great letters such as these:

To all the boys I've loved before
Real Woman -- Friday, 6 August 2004, at 2:31 p.m.

Frankly, the second I met my husband, I forgot all about every single one of you. I'd be hard pressed to remember any of your names if I happened to run into one of you on the street. You may have had some good qualities that made me want to hang out with you, but I'll be darned if I can remember what they were. Hopefully you're all having a good life - not that I really care.

THANK YOU FOR THR RIGHT CHOICE
GARY MAXSON -- Sunday, 8 August 2004, at 7:15 p.m.

I AM SO HAPPY YOU MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE I KNOW FOR SURE YOU LOVE ME AND NO OTHER TO BAD FOR HER GREAT FOR ME

the girl of my dreams
a "good" friend -- Monday, 9 August 2004, at 9:45 a.m.

from the moment i met you, i fell in love with you. i know we have been through alot of ups and downs, and have both said something we both regret, but i just wanted you to know i will always love you. you will always have a piece of my heart, you were the best thing that ever happened to me, and i will miss you.

there is just to much "drama" for us to be involved in eachothers lives anymore, but just remember i will always be here for you. everything we had was real, and now its gone. i just dont understand how something so perfect can go so wrong. but thats life, and you are a big part of mine. i will forever love you. im truly sorry for hurtin you. smile someone cant stop thinkin about you. remember the 25th.

It's the leaving that makes them miserable.

Well, not so much the leaving, as losing your house, your car, half your money and all the time with your kids.

That's kind of a bummer.

That would be a bummer, but life has it's ups and downs. You move forward and make yourself happy. Starting over isn't always a bad thing. Fresh start!
