Same here. I keep it near a window and it stays the perfect consistency for buttering toast at room temp.At this time of year, I never put the butter away in the fridge.
My dog would get it for sure if I did that. I'm glad he's too dumb to figure out how to open the refrigerator.

I'm getting a real kick out of the news reports.
BLIZZARD
has been the key word. Reporters standing outside, gentle breeze, snow gently falling, no hat, no gloves. Very serene scene.
But it's a blizzard to them. A bunch of snow does not a blizzard make. they need to go somewhere like Siberia where they REALLY have blizzards!

Yea, I've noticed that too. They need ratings and the general public panics during weather events so the news people have to take advantage so they can boost ratings.

Or South Boston, where one of my friends was returning home a while ago. Heavy snow and sustained winds around 30 mph, with gusts up to 55 mph.
Going to be a fun 24 hours for New England...
