again what are they going to do pull the trigger then find out its just there drunk brother in law in there house that has a key because his wife threw him out of his house.Or some 15 year old run a away looking for something to eat.
When the States attorney is frying there a$$ for shooting an unarmed person with out warning. And some hang um high people on the jury.
They will wish they had used a shotgun
At lest with a shotgun .The State's Attorney won't be making a case that you willed it to happen. And in front of that hang um jury the States attorney will be showing them all the hand guns,Saying he as been wanting to use them or why would he have them. Fact is 99.9% of the time when someone breaks into your house it's a drugie looking to steal your TV and stuff.
Even a police officer has to give warning before firing.
Yes I had allot of self righteous bigots ganging up on me.
For there sake I hope it never happens ,That one of these gun ho butt heads do shot someone.
But if they do they better pray that they can
prove that there life was in danger. Because if not The State will make them out to be a cold blooded killer that was just itching to shoot someone.

Adrenalin rush - maybe, nervous – wouldn’t call it that. Able to hit the target, you bet. Before shooting I would know my target and I could easily demonstrate that I was in fear of my life when I squeezed the trigger and I will have hit center mass. I also will be within the bounds of the law. As to hitting a moving target in close quarters I prefer a handgun because I would only be shooting at a target coming at me. I know that movement of an intruder in any other direction is not a threat. I’ll take my chances with a court under certain circumstances. I presume the same for other gun owners. Maybe if I had a large open area in my home a shotgun might be worth considering, but I have a lot of walls and hallways to deal with and the handgun is the right tool for me and my home. I think that is what you have missed. Truth is for an open area my very first option is a baseball bat. Nothing sounds as sweet as wood on bone.
: I sooooo want to do it. I'd probably be booted instantly though, since I'd pretty much be jumping up and down screaming "GUILTY, lock em up, and throw away the key!"
