Jane Fonda was surely a traitor, not to be compared with a mere war protester. .
LOL , ok, how so more than others ?

To even have to ask that should embarrass you to no end.
you have once again proven that you have no idea what you are talking about.
Do some damn research and figure it out.
Nobody help him with links, its time the idiot learns to think for himself, maybe, if he does that, he can become a patriotic American one day instead of a POS socialist with an obama poo stained head.
LOL , ok, how so more than others ?
Like to have the option of kicking people like that out of the country. Why can't we do that?
She also describes her longstanding support of, and interaction with, U.S. military personnel and says her only beef was with the U.S. government, not the troops.
First amendment rights. Though I don't think they should apply to her as a traitor.
Why , as an American she has the right to say what she wants, right or wrong?
Did you read any of my posts or are you just being stupid and I shouldn't bother with any more of your ignorant questions?
That's a real question because I don't want to be digging up information for you if you're just going to stick your fingers in your ears and go lalalala.
Yes I read your post ,now pay attention to mine .I posted a link with the pic you are talking about and if you would read the link .....the whole link you would see that some of what is attributed to her is not true and this by the POW's themselves.
Look as I said before I'm not a fan of the lady ,did she do something pretty effing stupid ...YES, but traitor nope.

Stop. Seriously. She can come back 40 years later, revise history and declare her innocence all she wants. But there are photos AND recordings of her doing just what I said she did. She in fact went to Hanoi during the Vietnam War. She in fact sang their little song of praise to Uncle Ho. She in fact sat in the action seat of one of their anti-aircraft weapons. She in fact pulled a Tokyo Rose with her little Viet Cong propaganda broadcasts.
Just like you in fact can disregard any facts and believe whatever you choose, regardless of how stupid it is.
Why are you so invested in believing Jane Fonda was some misunderstood humanitarian and didn't do the things she did?
Um, no one here ever said her actions resulted in the death of American’s, just that she is a traitor to this country. She went to a county we (USA) were at war with, she provided propaganda information to said country, she aided said country in their ability to wage war against this country (contributed propaganda material) and called American service men (and POW’s) liars and baby killers.Jane Fonda's supported the enemy in Vietnam got American POW's killed-Truth! and Fiction!
Interesting read doubt anyone here will read it.
In 1988 in an interview with Barbara Walters on 20/20, Jane Fonda talked about her Vietnam visit and issued what some feel was an apology but which her critics say was not enough.
Fonda said, "I would like to say something, not just to Vietnam veterans in New England, but to men who were in Vietnam, who I hurt, or whose pain I caused to deepen because of the things that I said or did. I was trying to help end the killing and the war, but there were times when I was thoughtless and careless about it and I'm...very sorry that I hurt them. And I want to apologize to them and their families."
In 2005, Fonda published her autobiography in which she described in detail her decision to go to North Vietnam. She said it was primarily motivated by her desire to document the U.S. bombing of important dikes that, if destroyed, could kill tens of thousands of people and devastate the lives of millions. The U.S. had denied the bombings. In the book, Fonda is unapologetic about the trip or her participation in broadcasts on radio Hanoi but regrets the pictures taken of her at the gun emplacement. She said it made it appear as though she was celebrating armaments aimed at American planes, which was not how she felt and was not the context in which the pictures were taken. She reminds readers that the U.S. investigated her trip and found no reason to bring any charges against her. She also describes her longstanding support of, and interaction with, U.S. military personnel and says her only beef was with the U.S. government, not the troops.

She got the part because she is one hell of an actress ,who did something really stupid over 40 years ago.
