Boot Cut: Charlotte Russe

I love these. They are the most comfortable jeans that I've ever owned. Well, they would be if I could get my fat ass back into them. Thank God that we're out of GS cookies.

I haven't tried those. I liked Old Navy just because I could grab my size and walk out and not worry about them fitting because I hate trying on clothes.

Those look cute! At 5'3, I usually stick to regular if I want to wear them with any shoes with height.

I'm 5'2" and can only where regular with heels or tennis shoes with a little height to them. But, most petites are highwaters on me. :ohwell:

I haven't had any luck with Old Navy jeans. It just seems like they are not cut for women with alot of curves.

I came across this on Pinterest:

Gap and Old Navy Make Mom Jeans

It will forever make me put more thought into my denim purchases.

So I was wondering what some of your favorite denim brands were?
The bigger the pocket, the bigger your backside will look.

I buy my jeans from Banana Republic, Express and American Eagle. I don't dare buy my jeans from the stores my daughter shops at (Hollister, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Aero, etc.), as those are for young girls... not grown women in their 30s.

I think American Eagle falls into the same young girls category... But I say #### it and wear them anyway. :coffee:

I love Banana Republic but they went through a size overhaul a bit ago and now I can't seem to find anything that fits as well as it used to. American Eagles are usually too big in the waist if I can get them over my hips. :sigh:
I need to explore Express, I haven't tried their jeans before.

The Charlotte Russe ones that I wear are not cut for young girls. God knows that I couldn't pull them off if they were.

Hmmm.... am I the only on that automatically thinks of the Spinal Tap song lyrics.. "The looser the waistband the deeper the quicksand... if ya know what I mean" :blushing:

I am currently wearing Liz Claiborne straight leg jeans and a quick check confirms that my butt looks great in them. My problem is that I like baggy shapeless jeans because they're comfortable, but they sag in the butt and make me look like I need a changing. My sweats are the same way.

I hate clothes.

my seven's are the best jeans I own. The same two pairs looked good before baby, and after (and my body composition has changed drastically) plus they are several years old and still look brand new. they arent faded, or ripped and the edges arent frayed. just all around really good jeans. good ole' levis from penny's are nice too.

The old navy ones tend to fit fine for the first hour or two out of the dryer..then they slowly stretch until at the end of the day the crotch is at my knees. not a good look. and believe it or not, glo jeans (I found the best pair ever at KMART of all places) fit really, really well. they tend to be higher in the front than the back (opposite of a lot of jeans) which looks good on people like me who have curvy hips and thighs..no weird gap at the waist.

I wish I had a personal shopper. Just someone who goes to the store, picks out things they think would look good, and brings home for me to try on.

I hate the whole process of staring at something on the rack to see if you like it, if it's too young/old, is the material "dry clean only" then grabbing 2 different sizes from the rack to take to the dressing room, and putting it on. Hate it.
