Was out on the pier at North Beach Saturday and surprised to see them in the water. I assumed it was too cold for them, but guess not.

These are "moon jellies"..or "spring jellies"...a lot milder than nettles..won't be here for long...

Yep

It was just weird to see them with it being cold out because for my entire life I'd never seen a jelly at that time of year in our waters
