And I know, I know it’s not popular in the media world to not venerate the great American voter. But as Tom Nichols writes in The Atlantic, these particular voters want revenge as well on their fellow citizens. Nichols writes, ‘The Republican base actively embraces Trump’s grievances. It emulates his pettiness. It supports his childlike inability to accept responsibility. These voters are not sighing in resignation and voting for the lesser of two or three or four evils. They are getting what they want. Because they, too, are set on revenge.'”
She continued, “I want to talk about the media’s role in all of this because we were talking during our morning call, our therapy call, as we call it, about, you know, the question of whether the media has always kind of pulled back when it came to number one criticizing the American voter and looking at them a little more with a little more circumspection but even candidates like Trump. And I go to the 1930s, when The New York Times was doing style pieces on Adolf Hitler, and saying, oh, he is going to moderate himself when he gets into office, and actual power is in his hands. I feel like that is happening again because people don’t want to come at the voters. But these voters are actively saying yes, we want a dictatorship. Yes, we want him to be a dictator. Yes, we like autocracy. And it’s just not being examined.”
Reid added, “People didn’t want to accept it’s not economic anxiety. It’s racial anxiety. It’s demographic panic. The reason we needed Rachel Maddow to exist in the world for most people to know how many Americans were fascist and were pro-Hitler in the 30s. People wanted to believe that all of America wanted to overthrow Hitler and was disdainful of fascism, when there was a giant chunk of America that was for fascism and wanted to replicate a Hitler in Washington, D.C.

MSNBC's Joy Reid Says Republicans Will Never Vote for a 'Brown Lady'
We already covered the media meltdown after Donald Trump easily won the Iowa caucuses. As we reported, MSNBC's Joy Reid discussed Trump's victory with Robert "Robbie" Jones, author of "The Hidden Roots of White Supremacy," and blamed it on Iowa being overwhelmingly white and Christian. Before they cut her mic, she went off against white, evangelical Christians, saying that "they own this country, that immigrants, that brown people, that Hindus like Vivek Ramaswamy and his wife are illegitimate Americans."
We all know Reid would have trashed Ramaswamy if he'd surprisingly come from behind. Glenn Greenwald, who rightly calls Reid "one of the most hateful and toxic people ever on TV," noted that Reid also said Republicans would never vote for a "brown lady" like Nikki Haley, who came in just behind Ron DeSantis in Iowa.
Courageous Moms for Liberty founder Tiffany Justice might have just ended the argument over removing sexualized books from schools. And she did it in the most unlikely possible place. How courageous is Tiffany? Yesterday, in a political environment where saying one thing slightly wrong can end your career, Tiffany bravely ventured deep into hostile territory on MSNBC with Joy Reid to answer questions about so-called “book banning:”

When Reid began to loudly press her to justify what Reid called modern-day “book banning,” Tiffany interrupted the liberal anchorlady and explained that nobody is banning books:
What an excellent question. How is limiting kids’ access to adult material in school books any different from limiting their access to adult material on the Internet? That question is what I call a mind worm — once you’ve thunk it, it never completely goes away — and in a sane world it should end the debate.
Maybe it will.
Kudos to Mrs. Justice for taking the big chances to help America’s kids by enduring the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, not to mention fake, woke news networks and their annoying, racism-goggle-wearing anchor ladies.

Moms for Liberty Founder Destroys Joy Reid During Attempted ‘Gotcha’ Interview on Banned LGBTQ Books and Parental Rights (VIDEO)
The conversation shifted to specific books that have been removed from school libraries. Justice clarified that Moms for Liberty does not have a national book list but encourages parents to become informed advocates by reviewing materials available to their children.
Reid raised the issue of Booklooks, a website used extensively by Moms for Liberty for researching books. Reid claimed that this practice uses out-of-context excerpts from books to advocate for their removal from libraries, which Justice disagreed with.
“You’ll get out-of-context passages from the book, and then based on that, Moms for Liberty members are going to places like Broward County School Board meetings, reading out-of-context passages from these books, and then demanding that the school board remove them,” claimed Reid.
“The question I’m asking is, what is the expertise that you have and other Moms for Liberty advocates have to decide that an award-winning book like “All Boys Aren’t Blue” isn’t appropriate for students to read?” asked Reid, who appeared clueless on the context of the book.
Justice defended Moms for Liberty’s stance, arguing that certain content, such as descriptions of sexual acts or violence, is not appropriate for public school libraries. She emphasized the group’s desire for parents to be informed and have control over what their children are exposed to in school.

Joy Reid: LGBT Kids ‘Feel Seen’ By Books About Child Rape
Reid complains about parent advocates using the book review website Booklooks.com to get “out-of-context passages from the book” to petition for the books to be removed from school library shelves.
“What is the expertise that you have, and other Moms for Liberty advocates have, to decide that an award-winning book like All Boys Aren’t Blue isn’t appropriate for students to read?” Reid asks.
“What a tragic story of a young man who is anally raped by his adult family member,” Justice responds. “So you have rape, incest, pedophilia. … In what context is a strap-on dildo appropriate for public school? Tell me what context around a strap-on dildo or the rape of a minor child by a teacher — ”
Reid interrupts, derailing Justice’s thought by randomly asking the name of the main character in the book, which has nothing to do with evaluating its quality.
“Why is it your right, or a Moms for Liberty activist’s right, to say that a parent who wants their child to have access to this book, which gives a personal experience of this author, why doesn’t a liberal parent, for instance, or the parent of a LGBTQ kid, why don’t they have a right for their child to just have access to this book?” Reid asks.
If a parent wants their child to read this book the parent can purchase a copy of the book, this book DOES NOT need to be in school libraries ...
When Justice again points out the book depicts “incest, rape, and pedophilia,” Reid interrupts and redirects: “I want you to answer, what is your right to tell a parent who wants their child, who might feel seen by this story, why don’t they have the right, as a parent, to say, ‘My child can have access to this book’?”
“If a child feels seen by this story, that means they have been the victim of a predator,” Justice responds. “That means they have either been raped by a family member, they’ve experienced rape — “
Reid interrupts again, then changes the topic. Later, she again loops in black people as a unit with LGBT people, arguing that if books like All Boys Aren’t Blue stayed in school libraries with an opt-out form for kids of parents who oppose porn, then “each parent, including a liberal parent, a black parent, a parent who wants their child to read a book about African-American history, they get their rights.”
Hidden in that argument is the offensive assumption that black parents want their children provided graphic stories — some including illustrations! — of obscenities such as child rape, incest, and pedophilia. Also embedded is the assumption that stories about integrating schools are on an equal moral playing field as books for kids depicting rape and pedophilia.
Why does Reid compare putting black kids into public school with putting pornography about strap-on sex toys into schools? That offensively implies black kids are obscene and immoral. Reid may not be capable of articulating it, but this is yet another incoherent and evil fruit of the intersectionality doctrine that falsely claims all allegedly “oppressed” groups have a right to express hostility against white and heterosexual people.
To be clear, like all people, black kids are made in God’s image. They are not anything like dildos or child rape, and to suggest so is so false it’s obscene. It’s actual blasphemy against the God who made them.
Reid insists not only that some parents should be allowed to show their children pornography, but that the pornography they wish to show children must be provided by tax dollars. Making people pay for their own books is “essentially putting a tax on parents who want their children to read the book.”

Reid then laid out a series of exaggerated consequences that she felt would come if critical race theory (CRT) and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) were to be displaced.
“Now, Blacks, please get out of Harvard. Now, Blacks, you can’t get any more loans. You can’t even give each other loans of $20,000 unless you give them to white men who get 99% of funding for their businesses. We want 100,” she said.
Reid further lamented that President Barack Obama and the recognition of holidays like Juneteenth represents a ruse to distract black Americans from genuine reparations.
“And to find out that literally Barack Obama’s two terms as president are your reparations, and Juneteenth, which you already celebrated anyway, is your reparations. Yet you built this country. You literally, physically, built this country, and yet the attitude toward you from a lot of your peers and your fellow citizens is: Just shut up and be grateful,” she said.

Joy Reid Asks Why We Need Babies When There Are So Many People Already Because She's a Moron
Joy Reid, the MSNBC host of "The ReidOut" (SWTDT?) since 2020 and a fixture on the left-wing network for a decade or longer, on Monday posted a TikTok video of herself going on an unhinged rant against having babies.
ASIDE: I'd like to take a moment to apologize to doors everywhere that have yet to be mounted in their frames if my use of the word "unhinged" tarnished them by association with Joy Reid.
"The United States has a population north of 327 million people," she said. "Why do we need more kids?"
This was Reid's "sharp" reply to Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) and his support for the state's recent IVF ruling and people having more babies. Slightly off-topic, but my old friend and BillWhittle.com colleague Scott Ott hosted a Right Angle segment on this topic and I learned a lot. The Alabama court's ruling was a narrow one, finding that since the current law (dating back to the 19th century!) doesn't make any exceptions, an IFV embryo counts as a human for determining civil liability for its destruction. That's all.
But reason and logic don't find much room in Reid's head alongside all the indoctrination already in there, so instead we're treated to thoughts like this one:

The point is that Tuberville's point went wooshing over Reid's head like a gnat in a hurricane — completely unnoticed. There's a big difference between a wide-open border allowing in God-knows-who and families doing whatever they can, including IFV, to have babies.
“I mean, you also a white guy,” Reid said, adopting street language to make her point. “Are you saying 'the we' is white folks need more kids? Is this like a great replacement thing where you’re concerned that there’s not enough white people in the population versus the growth of the Latino population and the black population and the Asian American population, and so 'the we' is white people need to make white women have more kids, and that’s 'the we,' and that’s the why? Because it’s a little creepy. Little Handmaid’s Tale, don’t you think?”
The abortion rate for black women in this country (40 per 1,000 women of childbearing age) is over triple the rate for white women (12 per 1,000) and 50% higher than for Hispanic women (29 per 1,000). If Tuberville got his way on abortion, there would be a lot more black and Hispanic babies in this country relative to the number of white babies.
Tuberville is going to have to work a lot harder at this whole racism thing. I'd advise Reid to work a lot harder on her race-baiting schtick, but I'm sad to report that it's been working quite well for her for quite a long time. For the people she's ostensibly trying to help, not so much.
She continued, “And they have been truly demagoguing an issue of a Georgia young woman who was killed, a Georgia young nursing student named Laken Riley. They have now passed a law called the Laken Riley Act. All Republican members and 37 Democrats voted in the House to support the bill. The legislation requires the detention of any migrant who’s been accused of burglary or theft. My understanding is that burglary and theft are already illegal. What does this law add to the current existing law? Is it just a messaging bill? Does it do anything or change anything?”
Reid added, “I will note for our audience that overall crime is down this year across this country, and migrant crime is negligible. Crime by migrants is negligible.”
