I was thinking the same thing...bye bye Yeley. :howdy:

I think RCR would scoop him up first though.
How does Jr and Havick get along? Team chemistry goes a long way, but I can't figure out the Kyle Busch/Gordon/Johnson love triangle thing. Would Jr. even be willing to race a #3 car?

Jr. is a HUGE Redskins and Joe Gibbs fan...

He's always said he'd love to drive the 3 car. I don't know if Harvick would be too kind to sitting in the passenger's side, because Junyer would definitely be top dog. Bowyer's pretty cool though.

I think it's more a Gordon/Johnson love thing and Busch is just there. I bet they could care less if he was in the picture or not.

Don't remind me. :bawl:

I'd start collecting #18 gear again if Jr made it to JGR, but it would be behind Bobby's 18 and 43 stuff.

:huggy: I know what you mean. Damn family conflicts. Teresa might be a biatch, huh. Sure sounds like it.

So Jr using the media to demand a 51% stake in DEI was a cool thing? DEI was built by Sr and Teresa, Teresa is supposed to just hand over the reins of the business??

I wouldn't be so sure. Everyone said Burton would outshine Harvick. Harvick had 5 wins last year, and a Daytona 500 trophy sitting on his shelf next to his Indianapolis trophy and two Busch Series Championships.

I think a Harvick/Burton/Junyer combination is a recipie for Nextel Cup domination.

Clint Bowyer isn't on contract with RCR. Neither is Yeley or Hamlin at Gibbs. Jeff Burton's contract with RCR expires at the end of the Nextel Cup season.

Don't rule out Ginn Racing either. Neither Sterling or Nemecheck are contracted - and we all saw how well Mark did at Daytona.

To stir the pot a little more, Richard Childress Racing doesn't own the number 3. All the car numbers are assigned by NASCAR and teams can request a number. The number 3 has not been retired by NASCAR - it is unassigned. :elaine:

DEI's not running well. They're not consistent. Junyer wants to be consistent. What's wrong with wanting majority ownership of a team so he can call some of the shots.

He does have two Busch Championships as an owner.

I never said Burton would outshine Harvick. I was just happy that he finally got out of that freaking Ford. :lmao:

When did Harvick win the Daytona 500?

With Truex. Truex drove for Chance 2 Motorsports, which is a subsidiary of DEI.
