I'll overlook or get over a lot before I get to that point. I walk away over every little tiff. All I'm saying is, once it's over, it's over. Plain and simple: The odds of people changing are astronomical and not in their favor. They get one "do over" and that's it.

People don't change... they may say they've changed... they may change their looks or various aspects of the asthetics, but deep down... people don't change.

My son's father and I have been broken up for awhile but had talked about getting back together and working out our issues. We went on a trip out of town to see some family and I asked my "friend" if she wanted to come down and hang out for my b-day. She did and that's when the two of them met. Well apparently they started hanging out after we came back home. Well my b-day was on thursday so we had a party friday night. I of course invited her to come down and she said we would. Well ever since coming home from VA my son's dad and I had not been getting a long and I couldnt figure out why. I didn't want him to come to the party because I didnt want any drama and so I didnt invite him. Well she proceeds to invite him to my house and tried to deny it. Then they go off by themselves for the whole entire night. Which i thought was super rude. Well long story short they have been sleeping with each other and she's still trying to deny that they were starting to have a relationship. Which ya know what if they want to fine dont disrespect me by messing around at my house. And it got really ugly after that...and now she's mad at me because I'm so upset about it.

I'm really not looking for anyone to respond i just needed to vent!!!!

...expert at these things, but, I'm thinking you and the ex have another issue to work out before getting back together. And whatever you were gonna get your friend for Christmas, I'd take it back and get something $maller, for damn sure.

There are no absolutes in life other than Death, taxes and change. I've seen it happen, though it's so stupidly rare, I don't plan on it.

That is certainly not a universal truth.

I wouldn't say that all people don't change but some people most certainly do.
