At what point does the child right to not die matter? Not being facetious, there should be a point where we recognize that that collection of cells is a person who hasn't been born.... And that barring a real threat to the mothers life, you shouldn't be able to choose to end that child's life. And no wishy washy "OMG, Doc, I'm stressed, I'm afraid if I'm forced to have this baby I might hurt them or myself".

If you helped father that child, you still get no say? Dangerous attitude, extrapolated. If I do not have a personal connection to any murder victim, I'm not allowed to have an opinion regarding that killing being justified or not?
Last I checked, the taking of a the life of another thinking feeling human was murder. Cloaking that murder as a "woman's right" sort of ignores the rights of that small helpless human. At some point, that collection of cells growing inside the woman becomes a human waiting to be born. And it doesn't magically happen when scissors meet cord.

I'm still pro-choice - I just like to call things what they are. Killing a born child isn't abortion; it's murder. And someone who could murder a helpless infant is the worst of humanity.

A legal abortion certainly is not murder.
I am pro-abortion like I’m pro–knee replacement and pro-chemotherapy and pro–cataract surgery. As the last protection against ill-conceived childbearing when all else fails, abortion is part of a set of tools that help women and men to form the families of their choosing. I believe that abortion care is a positive social good. And I suspect that a lot of other people secretly believe the same thing. I think it’s time we said so.
Note: I’m also pro-choice. Choice is about who gets to make the decision. The question of whether and when we bring a new life into the world is, to my mind, one of the most important decisions a person can make. It is too big a decision for us to make for each other, especially for perfect strangers.
