I never saw the posts. But for Evans to go to Florida to testify? What gave rise to this guy going after the Sheriff to begin with? And of his other postings? Were they related to Evans, or of differing subjects?

Rumor has it that Hobar blamed the sheriff for something regarding his mother dying. Not sure of the exact story but he has had a hard on for ME for many years.

If you have not seen his posts, I am not sure if I can adequately describe them other than being vile and offensive and often with Evans body parts in various situations with animals and human beings. Offensive language, accusations and insinuations.

He often posted/ posts on Calvert Co small business FB pages. I was fortunate I saw his post on mine right away and deleted it/ blocked him. Where I am not a fan of ME, I am glad he was able to take action against this creep and sincerely hope it stops. For all of us!

True, enough. But he really only posts his crazy, relentless, crap regarding the sheriff. On totally unrelated-to-the-sheriff FB pages - especially a business page, so he would have the public audience he craved. He even took after non-profit FB pages. I saw his posts on The Arc Southern Maryland FB page years ago and reported him.

Harassment online must be like pornography. Hard to describe but you know it when you see it. Of course I can joke about it because he isn't personally going after me. If that were the case, I'm sure I'd feel a lot different about it.

Oh dear! I read the arrest thingy and saw the picture, it does say he was apprehended, but it does NOTspecifiy Maryland or Florida. It's a poorly written statement. Looks like the Deputy's uniform is not Calvert's, so I was guessing it was Charles.

I tried it too, then compared what is visible on the patch with some pics of the ones from Calvert and they don't match. No record of him being incarcerated in Maryland, either. :sshrug:

Sounds like all you need to do is move to Calvert County, his list of targets isn't very selective.
Misuse of the internet can get you a federal charge so he could be going to a nice pound me in the __s prison
