My BF and I wathed it on the local channel's coutny meeting show. That KK happens to be a black man, I didn't thing the SOMD KK was black?? Anyway, that place needs to be operated by someone who isn't a local, everyone ends up catering to their buddies and it gets them in to trouble.

I was up there from May 77 to May 78 and then deployed up there for a month at a time 10 times from 1983 to 1986. 77/78 was on the southeast side of the island at Hofn and at Kef for the rest of it.

I went from 82-95, mostly 2-3 weeks at a time in the reserves.

I don't think it matters whether a businessman or woman is local or not. It's a matter of character that determines if their business will cater to ruffians or have a decent clientele.

It may change names and owners, but if the clientele remains the same , there will always be problems.

I don't see how you thought this was a bitter post. I meant it as a joke, and I think Ken King got it. I feel my comments on here have been brief and friendly. I'm sorry if you think otherwise.

If you find talking about issues that are not insync with your views then you need to wake up and leave the subdivision.

-by the way I had a wonderful childhood, with my mother and father (never divorced) and five sisters right on the Patuxent River. I grew up in a huge house surrounded by my Dad's side of the family who lived right across the street. So I had a great up bringing with parents who taught me that creating different people of all walks of life is what God intended. So I have a very strong belief system, thank you very much.

As far as your youth....if you'll read again you'll see that I never mentioned your parents YOU WERE THE ONE THAT HAD TO GO THERE! I was speaking of your peers, I have a hard time thinking that you had tons of gold stars for "working and playing well with others".
