Kennedy Has A Brain Tumor

If I recall...

Sorry. When Jeffrey Dahmer got whacked in prison, I didn't give a tinker's damn and thought, "Good riddance". So the only "politics" this involves is what Ted Kennedy happened to do for a living, and how he perpetrated his ugliness.

When Dahmer got it, nobody said, "We have to separate our culinary habits from our human decency."

...Jeffrey got beat to death for asking the wrong inmate if he was gonna eat his leftovers...

You stay classy, SOMD Righties. :yay:

Whyn't you trot back to the DU, where I'm sure they're crying in their tofu at the prospect of losing their idol? Maybe you can start a thread over there about George Bush and see the real class you're looking for.

Comparing Kennedy to Dahmer? Are you serious?

I don't aggree with anything he stads for, but I hope and pray that he repents of his sins. My other point is that no matter who it is, when they are dying or have died, they deserve prayers. This experience could save his soul.
As everyone should since we are all sinners.

Kennedy...

For Dahmer there can be no doubt. For Kennedy, it's a matter of point of view.

...committed manslaughter. He got away with it and was allowed to go on and become an American icon. He is see as a good man with good ideas and a defender of the people. Those he didn't kill anyway.

I'm sure he didn't mean it to happen, so I don't view him as a murderer. I just don't want someone like that wagging a moralizing finger in my face for 40 some odd years. Go be a bartender. Run a business. Just don't deign to be a national leader. You (he) don't have the moral authority to hold that position and that you do, by virtue of your supporters, you degrade the institutions you claim to uphold and serve and bring the rot of hypocrisy into everything you stand for or against.

I am sorry for him and for his loved ones.

My faith and my religion won't let me wish Ted Kennedy's death because of this current illness he's acquired. Like many of you have stated, he's done some stupid and arrogant acts, especially the Mary Jo Kopeknec(sp?) drowning incident.

All I can say is - maybe what goes around, comes around. His family, his home state of Massachusettes, and this nation deserved better than what they got.

I'm not. I hope he rots in hell. And I don't feel bad about it one little bit. The nicest thing I have to say is, "It's about effing time." I see no reason to change my opinion of him just because he's sick.

Why not? What's the difference between them except that Fat Teddy had a rich family and political clout, so didn't go to prison after he killed someone?

:eyebrow: how about number of people killed? Or the minor matter of what he did with the bodies?

I thought you don't believe in hell?

Maybe not the standard religious version of hell but more like a place where you can't smoke in bars, they tax the crap out of you and the government intrudes into your private affairs.............wait just a damn minute. Kennedy is coming to Maryland! :jameo:

Who cares what he did with the bodies? Does that make them any less dead? In fact, Ted Kennedy has had a detrimental effect on significantly more people than Dahmer did.

You all have your little pity party for poor Teddy boy. I see all someone has to do to become a saint around here is to get a brain tumor.

As much as I despise Kennedy I refuse to allow this to dig deep enough into my psyche to wish such a horrible demise on him. If anyone understands the horror of cancer, you'd pary he doesn't suffer.

Well, aren't you just a sweet little saint?

He still the same corrupt, slimy bastard he always was, and his death won't change that.
