Yes, cancer is horrible - but I will not shed a tear for this worthless piece of crap...

I'm sorry about what your Aunt went through. Please understand that comments from those like Pushrod come from the old testiment. An eye for an eye which is not Christian teaching. For some, political hate causes them to forget Christian teachings.
For a lomg time, Ted Kennedy has been known for horrible behavior and there's no excuse for the bad things he's done but he has done good as well. Even his worst politcal enemies say that he is one who can be trusted. He hasn't tipped the bottle in a long time. He's been the sarragote father for 13 of his nephews and nieces in addition to his own children. One day, he had to send his son into surgery due to cancer then had to go and give away his niece (Kathline) at her wedding then had to get back to the hospital in time for his son to come out of surgery. His oldest brother was killed when he was around 10. He lost two more brothers as an adult and lost sisters as well. I'm not saying that anyone should feel sorry for the guy but at some point, one would hope that some folks could refocus on Christian teachings.

I lost my Grandmother to cancer. I wasn't saying that cancer, per se, is god's revenge for any crimes. I was saying specifically as related to Kennedy that for murdering Mary Jo, maybe fate cursed him with this horrible disease. I'm sorry for the loss of your Aunt, no disrespect to her.

I apologize for my outburst. Some of what I am reading is what we have come to expect from the likes of The Huffington Post or DailyKos.
I understand peoples' hatred for this man. I'm not sure if I would define how I feel as hatred. I would like to think if nature or God (or whatever you attribute this to) was going to take revenge out on Kennedy for his crimes it would have happened long ago.

I was thinking that as well. If fate was going to "get him back". I would think it would've happened before Ted got to enjoy a long life and a long career in the Senate. One thing for sure Mary Jo's death robbed him of any chance he may have had of being President.

I agree, but all I can say is that it is better late then never!
It's just a shame that he never even went to trial for his crime. I have no sympathy for this man and hope his suffering is a 1000x worse than Mary Jo's last minutes on Earth. If that is evil of me, so be it, I can deal with that amount of evil.
