Just watched Boebart on Hannity, rights version of Cortez, total idiot. Maybe HS should be a requirement and not a GED?
Became obvious, it's personal, Maybe McCarthy wouldn't give her the two bits for a Lewinsky?
She went full retard. o_O

They both went full on stupid, he talks over her answering his question because it’s not being answered the way he wants.

I agree. It's obvious it's personal to her - you could see it in her whole demeanor. She acted just like all the idiots who come on the show and blather on making the same point incessantly. She went beyond rude as a GUEST on the show. Yes, Hannity can also be annoying, but this chickie showed she is definitely not ready for Prime Time. If she were my Congresswoman, I'd have been on the phone to her office telling her what an embarrassing fool she looked like. Like Trey Gowdy said in his segment which followed hers. He looked and sounded disgusted.

I GET that these 20 congress people have their points and can even agree with them, but she did them NO favors looking like an hysterical, unprepared screaming meamie.

She's a guest on his show and he had questions. I saw it as rude and obnoxious that she was trying to steamroll the host with her own agenda.

It was at that point I turned it off. Hannity really doesn't like disagreement. He shines when he has REALLY good guests on who agree with him, but not when they disagree.

I think the 20 or so disagreeing GOP members should hold their ground. I think Kevin is just the House's version of Mitch, and they need someone else. They shouldn't be forced or shamed into going along any more than Sinema or Manchin should be compelled to vote with the Dems.

This to me, is stupid when they just KEEP NOMINATING McCarthy and playing the same record. Very definition of insanity.

I don't disagree with your comments overall, but she really didn't MAKE any real points and wouldn't answer his specific question.

I think the one "line in the sand" she had was about that Rule where they can get rid of the Speaker with just 1 Representative's demand. I believe McCarthy agreed to 5 Rep's not just 1. That doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

At the end of the day - McCarthy WAS nominated back in Nov. and NOW these handful of Congressmen want to derail the whole situation with what looks like a temper tantrum. I don't even really disagree with them on all their points. They say McCarthy ignored them until the miserable Mid-term results. I wonder why NOW they're all about their convictions, but they weren't back in the fall when the GOP money was coming their way to help them win their re-elections? (I don't know which ones, and how much, this is a general statement) This is starting to make those 5 look like foot-stomping babies who are going to hold their breath until they get their way.

Hannity is FAMOUS for talking over his guests. He himself has brought this up as his own most common critique. And he made up some stupid-ass scenario akin to "have you stopped beating your wife" where he suggested they just capitulate to the GOP if they can't get any traction by Friday. Sorry, that's exactly the kind of crap the Dems piled on Sinema and Manchin. And the same wording by Schumer - that the will of the people is being held up by two people.

McCarthy - or the party - have made threats against them also, per their term in the House. This is like an abusive husband making threats against his wife unless she moves back home. Like THAT is supposed to work? They don't want bribes and promises and goodies - they don't want him because they don't TRUST him - and he's not making it easy.

I think the slim margin makes the difference - voting against him with a huge margin is irrelevant. Voting against him WITH a tiny margin GIVES them leverage.

I'm not impressed by Kevin McCarthy. He's exactly the kind of leader the GOP *needs* to get rid of, but they're afraid to do it.

Good.
I thought we WANTED Reps who are willing to stand & hold their ground. Everyone wants to compare the holdouts to The Squad, like it's a bad thing....A lil reminder....THE SQUAD GOT THE BALL MOVED IN THEIR DIRECTION, BIG TIME. Personally, I think our Squad should've made BIGGER demands...Demands that involve Tar, Feathers, & Railroad ties, with the promise of proper utilization of such instruments of Democracy during weekly broadcasts.

Make no mistake...If we get McCarthy in as Speaker...he will promise to seek counsel & advice from former GREAT Speakers before him, such as John Boehner, Paul Ryan, Nancy Pelosi...he will follow in the footsteps of great Congressional leaders, such as Eric Cantor, Hank Johnson, Maxine Waters,... Nancy Pelosi...and if the people find fault with his leadership, he will flush ALL of his promises down the commode and hand the gavel back to a TRUE CONGRESSIONAL LEADER...Nancy Pelosi....and will ensure that Washington DC is back...to business as usual...

I would like to put up Ted Kazinski as the next Speaker...
