@SamSpade @CPUSA - I agree with a lot of what both of you said I just don't have time to answer both of them since I have to get to work!
I agree that this is definitely bringing some attention to the problems with Kevin McCarthy and I hope that it will get worked out it just seems to be at a major impact and maybe if these 20 had the courage to stand up before... we wouldn't be in this situation.

Representative Victoria Spartz (R., Ind.) voted “present,” moving away from her support of McCarthy in the previous ballots.
“They need to be men and adults and say what they want, instead of playing these little games, that’s what we’re asking. That’s what I’ve asked them. Some of them are my friends. Stop saying platitudes like, ‘Washington is broken. We can’t do the status quo,’” Crenshaw said.

It's personal because McCarthy is wrapped around the swamp and didn't support the Republicans in purple states/districts if they were behind Trump. Same reason I hate his ass. He was happy to let Democrats win in order to stick it to Trump's supporters. As a result, I'm happy to let Democrats win in order to dump McCarthy in the trash where he belongs.
The bought and paid for corporate media - yep, you too Sean Hannity and Brett Baier - are all about the swamp rats and disparaging outsiders like Boebert and Roy, who are the REAL patriots. Apparently you all want elite overlords but I do not.

That's the thing - the GOP money was NOT coming their way to help them out. The swamp rats wanted them to lose, even if it meant a Democrat majority. Just like they didn't want Trump.

They have been making noise but the corporate media hasn't given them any press except to slam them. If you listen to Chip Roy speak - he is not a kook. The media is trying to paint him as one, along with Gaetz and Boebert, but none of those people are kooks.
It's exactly what they did to Trump - raked his ass over the coals painting him in a negative light and ignored what he actually said or did.
The GOP wrote her off this past election - didn't kick in for her campaign and certainly didn't support her on election night. So it's a good thing it was close enough to trigger an automatic recount that Boebert won. But on election night they were all gleefully saying she was finished. It was a joyous moment to have to watch all of those turds eat crow.
AND they keep calling Lauren Boebert "Congresswoman elect" but in fact she is a sitting Congresswoman, this was her re-election. Every time I hear the newsbots do that it pisses me off.
