Yep, but they make your pee stink..
Chasey says it doesn't because of the live active cultures. Must be yogurt cultures eat the active ingredient in stinkle.

OK, so if you already had stinkle and ate some yogurt would the live active cultures nuetralize the stinkle or is it too late?

Isn't that the same Key Lime they sell at Clarkes Landing? I know they get it from some place on the island I just can't remember the exact name. Anywho if it is it's very good:yay:

Probably. Several local restaurants get their Key Lime pie from Kims.

Key Lime Pie Recipe:

  • 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk (not the fat-free crap)
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup of Nellie and Joe's Key Lime Juice (I got mine at Safeway and it MUST be key lime juice - regular lime juice will not do)
  • zest of 1 lime (key lime if you can get it, otherwise regular lime will do)
Mix yolks with cond. milk, then add lime juice and zest. Mix well and pour into a 9" graham cracker crust. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Cool, then refrigerate until chilled and set. Garnish with whipped cream.

Note that there is no jello, cream cheese or green food coloring in this recipe. True key lime pie is yellow and custardy, not green and cheesy/jello-y.

Actually, now that I think about it, this would make a nice treat for #2, who is grounded pending the return of both of Bebe Mama's winter coats (that she "borrowed" and lost). She's supposed to bring both coats home with her TODAY and, if she does, I'll make her a pie to celebrate her release from house arrest. :yay:
