Me too. However, I was thinking we should start with one kitten in a room so he's not overwhelmed and runs away. We'll see how he acts when I pull him out of the carrier.
SomdRocks, I'll see you this afternoon. It's still looking like 5:00, give or take just a bit. What kind of kitten food have they been eating? In case we end up running early we could drop by Petco and get that done. I need litter and wet food for Manny anyway.

That's what I was looking for, but the only had the one I sent the pic of. I didn't get litter 'cuz I didn't have a cart. I just ran in for the carrier.

Oh well. I'll still keep an eye out for another folding carrier, those things are handy. They had one at Wal-Mart last time I went, but it was rather big, intended for dogs.

It was a hard choice, there were so many! I ended up getting Tiger.
Manny didn't get to choose, he started out okay sniffing one of the kittens, and then they started running around and jumping over him. He freaked out, went back to a corner and started hissing. I think it was a little much for him. He waited in the car while I tried to pick one that would suit him well. My mom wanted a short haired cuddler, and Manny needs a friend that's on par with his play level; he'll play all day long with me.
I just wish Mittens could have been that buddy for him. It just never happened. She hates him. She's going back to SMAWL tomorrow at two, I'm meeting the woman that adopted her to me there. Poor girl's UTI just came back. I wish she could have gone back to her in better condition. I'm trying to get her out of here because of the stress, and then that. I'm trying to keep her as comfy as possible here until then. She's got the litter box close by, and some bedding arranged over there with her s/d food and water. God I'm gonna miss waking up with her on my belly.
I have a young thing to look forward to though. Tiger should help me through it.

is tiger a male or female? I know with me getting another female kitten pebbles seems to be a happier woman. She hissed the first week but she seems to be doing better now and not as bad she actually will let the kitten near her with no hissing now but she won't sleep in the same bed as her yet because the kitten thinks ok shes up here lets play and pebbles is 14yrs old and likes to be lazy

I'm pretty sure Tiger's a boy. I'm gonna be pretty embarrassed if I'm wrong, but I met a lot of kittens today. I'm thinking he and Manny should do well together pretty quickly. Manny's a fan of good company, he made fast friends with my old room mate's boyfriend's cat that came over every once in a while. They played the whole time, and then slept in the same chair.

aww that is cool. lets hope these 2 become best buds. my new baby is adjusting just so nicely. She loves to play in the litter box though lol which isn't a good thing when you wake up with litter all over your floor.

I usually have to clean litter off the floor every couple of days anyways, they always track it out of the litter box.
