how did tiger do lastnight? Are you going to rename the kitty something else or keep the name tiger? How did manny do with the new kitty? lastnight when I went to bed the kitten decided to go with me and she actually went to sleep instead of playing half the night which was nice for me as I am coming down with my first cold of the season.

Cute Overload...I don't think this kitten has stopped purring since he arrived yesterday.

Awesomely. They played shortly after he got there. I'm going to name him Nacho. He already seems to be responding to it. They slept in the same place for a while last night while I was watching House.

Nacho later decided to curl up on my neck once I was in bed and purr until he fell asleep. Then later he got up, wandered out of my room, and came back and plopped down with Manny again. They were up running around by the time I got up this morning.

that is cool that the 2 of them are getting along so well. Pebbles still has her hissy fits with the kitten. Sometimes she is fine with her being in the same room and others she is like can you just get lost as I am old and you don't seem to understand I like to sleep not play all day. Shadow likes to sleep on my pillow next to my head at night and purr til she passes out too. She also loves to go in my mom and stepdads room and run around there has they have so much stuff she can hide under and attack you when you least expect her to be in that one spot or she loves to play peekaboo too hides under something and when you turn and look for her you are like where is she then she will stick her head out and go here i am.

Haha, that is so cute! Looks like I've got Nacho's first vet appointment this afternoon, too at 5:30. Yesterday he was sneezing, and then his eye started getting swollen and oozing yellow-green goop. I've been trying to keep his face clean in the mean time.

I think if they end up telling me it's contagious, I'm going to go ahead and get a prescription of whatever I get for Manny too, because it's just a matter of time before he gets some of that eye goop transferred to his face on accident. I've been washing my hands between handling cats, but better safe than sorry.

Definitely. Probably pink eye (you can see in the pic how his right eye is kinda squinty) and hopefully not a URI. I'll get two treatments for the eyes so I can have a spare in case Manny starts to show signs of it.

I need to google URI... Little guy had Gracie stay with him last night.

Yes, they did. I was telling her about lucky's new kitty and she said she had been looking for a gray kitty. I said "I know where one is!"

Nacho's in tip top shape aside from a little cold. Turns out the goopy eye is just part of a feline cold, which was good to hear. Dr. Autumn said he should be over it in no time.

They had a bit of trouble getting a picture of him for their records, though. It was after his blood drawing for the FIV/FeLV test, and he wouldn't stop licking his leg! She finally got one of him mid-leg-lift, :lol:
