I need a nap
Anybody been? I want to knock out some xmas shopping, wondering if it was worth the trip. They have free shipping anyways, so i'm wondering if its worth the gas to drive out there friday. I'll be like a kid in a candy store.

I loves me some L.L. Bean.

It is better than the one in Columbia. I like the store.

I've only been to the one in Freeport. The trout stream running throuigh the store is pretty cool

My friend from NY waits until his annual trip to DC so he can go shopping in that specific store. That has to say something.... :lol:

It's OK, not huge but they have a pretty fair selection. You should really go to Freeport, it is huge and open 24 hours :lol:

Yep!! I think I have only been to the store during "normal" business hrs once, like at 10am. Another time around 7pm. The rest has always been around 1/2am.

The Leesburg outlet mall is FANTASTIC! The LL Bean store in particular is very nice. They also have a Williams Sonoma, Le Cruset, Pottery Barn, Juicy, Resoration Hardware etc... You can get a TON of good deals there. Last year I bought a Le Cruset oval baker that retails for $100 I paid $15!

I went to their Black Friday opening a few years ago and that was INSANE! The craziest thing I have ever been too and I have been shopping BF since I was 10. The wait time just to pull into the parking lot was 2 hours! That doesnt include the time it took to actually find a spot. But the deals that night were AMAZING!

I believe they announced on the radio this morning that 1 lane for traffic is being closed off and it will be a real nightmare traveling in that area. 8 week shutdown was predicted.

The on-ramp from eastbound rt. 7 to southbound beltway will be reduced to one lane for 8 weeks. Unless you don't mind total gridlock, I would AVOID THAT AREA AT ALL COSTS if I were you! It's bad enough every other day of the week at any time of day.
