Labradoodles ...

I am so upset.

I have been in contact, via e-mail with Callaway Kennels and we can't get to an agreement with the purchase price of the puppy. So, having promised my hubby that I wouldn't go over $XXX.00, I will continue my search for my next Labradoodle.
Thanks to all who have offered their assistance. I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Like I told you in an earlier post....I am down that way a lot...I can stop by and rough the breeders up a little and maybe they'll come down....If not, good luck in your search...

Hey NP, just curious, but what's wrong with a pure poodle?

I want a Doodle. They are amazing. I have a Poodle too...."Jake" and he's wonderful, but my Doodle, "Woody" is beyond any words. He is truly pure sweetness. Everyone I know that has a Doodle says the same thing about the breed.

She'll never be able to place her Doodle in a better home. My dogs are my kids. But I understand her position....it's her business and if she has to have full price, I must continue to look. But I was already in love. :bawl:
I was ready to come over there to get one.
This always happens. These folks want so damn much for these dogs and I know they are worth every penny.....but that $$$ is out of my league. Perhaps Woody's breeder will come through for me again.

They are really cute pups. What is the F1B considered? I had a friend who practically gave her puppies away, sorry I didn't know you were looking. I'll ask her to keep an eye out for you.

Example....
Labradore & Poodle breed = F1
Labradoodle & Poodle breed = F1B which is allergy free & doesn't shed.(maybe just a little)

I can't speak for the Poodle part but I have a Lab that is the sweetest old boy you'd ever want to meet....He lays his head in my lap and rolls those big ole brown eyes and wags that tail and you just melt....He is soooooo easy going nothing bothers him....He does raise he!! when someone comes around until he sees who they are....I wouldn't take anything for him....

Oooh... I want Sydney! I am seriously trying to talk my hubby into it. We have a labradoodle now that we got from someone that had her listed "free to good home" here on somd.com. She was the pup in a home with a 13-yr old chocolate lab who didn't take kindly to the young whipper-snapper in the house. We love our doodle and are happy that she ended up with us -- we have had her just over a year now. Here she is... (She really does need a friend!)
