I called them asking where is my free double my speed upgrade (have 200MBps). I'm at $105 a month for internet and you are advertising 1000MBps at $59 . Oh you were grandfathered in to stay at 200. I said upgrade me... then comes all the cars sales talk, oh it's $70 a month for a few months then will goes up to $130. I said fine, I'll do 5X my current speed for $25 more dollars. Great, will send you a new modem and 2 satellites for mesh network. I get the email summary for $160 a month! They left out the little detail it was $15 a month to rent the modem and $15 for satellites.

I called them back to say I have a brand new Orbi mesh network- oh, that is not compatible with our system. So, same old bull $hit, different name.

Don't forget, to also get that "great" rate you also need to sign-up for paperless billing and automatic payment.

You should check to see if your house is in T-Mobile's 5G area. They're offering Home Internet over 5G now for $55 per month. I've been trying it for almost a week and all of my devices behave exactly the same as they do on ABB's router.

If I may ...

You still have a wired physical phone line, Verizon/Bell Atlantic, connection?
When we had to abandon our Verizon T1 a few years ago because it was so stunningly slow and unreliable, ABB was literally our only choice for voice and data. They are still our only choice, though the actual data rates are far slower than what we are supposedly paying for.

Not available in my area :(

I no longer have cable, only wifi. I use a Roku stick on my 2 TVs.
I tried that using my Fire stick and FUBO. The pictures (the shows) were simply not as clear as DirecTV. Plus some of the shows I really wanted to watch (Outlander) didn't have subtitles. We always end up back with DirecTV.

Anyone tried T-Mobile recently, since they put in the 600mhz extended range service? Their coverage map shows all of Southern Maryland solidly in the 5g range, I would like to hear experiences. I tried them for 4g LTE and they were no good, but mostly because they were using high freqs that couldn't penetrate a cardboard box. With the same towers they may well be able to provide decent service with the lower 5g frequencies.

Breaking News from Newsmax.com
Dear Newsmax Supporter:
President Trump held another huge rally in Ohio this past weekend.
The big media all censored this big news event – except Newsmax!

We carried it live.
But you didn’t see it because Atlantic Broadband, now called Breezeline dropped Newsmax from their system.
You should know several small woke cable systems like Breezeline/Atlantic recently cancelled Newsmax.
Their “business decision” makes no sense.

Newsmax is the 4th highest-rated cable news channel.

We have more viewership and ratings than 80 channels in their
basic guide.

And guess what – Breezeline/Atlantic cable pays these channels much more than they’d ever pay Newsmax.

So here’s the real story: Breezeline/Atlantic and these woke cable channels really want to CENSOR Newsmax.
They want to stop our coverage of President Trump and other issues YOU care about.
These are woke companies that are not telling their customers
the truth about cancelling Newsmax.
What can you do?

Easy, CANCEL them!
In fact, Sen. Rand Paul is urging conservatives to cancel cable
companies like Breezeline/Atlantic.

It’s simple, just cancel them.

Call them now at 1-844-574-8435 to cancel now.
Even if you have a contract, notify them early you want to
cancel.

Cancel all their services:
Cable, telecom, broadband and more.
Tell your families to avoid woke companies like Breezeline/Atlantic.
It’s time to make a stand.
Stand with Newsmax. Stand for honest journalism.
Stand for America and the country you want.
Your friends at Newsmax

Easier said than done. Please identify a comparable Internet provider that can match my 17ms latency, 1Gbps download speed for $130 per month and I will consider changing.

I only use their internet service. I stream TV and have the Newsmax app.

Starlink . Thanx, Musk.

$110/mo, 300mb download with higher speeds to come. Still in development, new satellites being deployed, latency coming down.

With the amount of trash that Breezeline includes in their basic package it's pretty telling that they won't even accept the Newsmax bribe to offer their channel.

I had kind of the opposite happen. I called and asked why I hadn't been bumped from 100 to 200, and they said it was because I was on a legacy plan no longer offered. For a few bucks more they could put me on the new 200mbit plan, but because I was on an old plan that also meant I was not under contract so I would count as a new customer and could get 6 months (or whatever it is) of the promo price.

the poor dad
Maybe someone on here can convince Mr Elon to buy Breezeline so he can have one big monopoly on internet & free speech so 5 years from now we can complain about something he is doing that we don't like...

Newsmax is a right wing PAC just like MSNBC is a left wing PAC. If people would follow their funding, they'd realize that.

Three times slower than Breezeline. And vaporware promised in the future. No thanks. I don't need to go backwards.

These *******s. I have never been so mad. I had a decent deal I thought. It was 99.99 for 400mb service. They started offering 1000GB service for $59.99 on their site for 6 months. I knew their stick about you have to be a new customer to get that deal. I called anyway and go a friendly guy who explained they had done customer service studies and had realized that that upsets customers more than anything and they had changed. He told me of I signed up for the 59.99 deal for 6 months, they had change the rules. and I could get whatever their best deal was. Basically call in every 6 months, ask for the new deal and that was that. I told him he was lying and he assured me it was true. So I switched from my $99 plan to this $59 plan based on that.

6 months later my bill jumps to $130 and change. I called in, and immediately was told by the automated system there was a 44 minute wait and I would have to do a call back. I put in for a call back and was called later in the day. I got a call back and explained everything about being able to get the new customer deal. The woman on the phone claimed she was in new customer sales and could not help. While she thought what I was saying was correct, she could not do anything about getting me a deal. I needed to talk to customer retention, which had a 40 minute wait. I got a call back and when I answered was immediately hung up on.

A few weeks latter I called back again, and same store. 45 minute wait, and wait for a call back. Someone called me back, and same story. Was told that what I was saying was correct they thought, but I had to talk to some other department and since they don't work weekends I would have to call back. I got upset and explained what was told to me when I got the 1GB service to start, and how I would not have changed if this was told to me. The woman claimed she would send everything to her supervisor (who again did not work weekends), and she would get back to me the following week. The rep even emailed me, so I have her name, email and number.

Two weeks go by and no email. I emailed her back asking why here supervisor had not emailed me. No reply. Since then I have sent 3 more emails and no reply. ABB/Breezeline are so dishonest it has to be illegal.
