I figured it out. We The People, when we voted for Trump, were actually voting to alter the previous government, without firing a shot. To wit, under Trumps leadership, and those that have aligned with him, have taken the Declaration of Independence to heart, which asserts .......

"Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

Now isn't this just grand? History will show that America can still live up to the tenets that founded this Nation. With any altering of a previously usurping government, there's gonna be some short term upheaval, discontent, disruptions, and chaos. We will get though this most important and necessary time. And we will come out a better Nation for it, when all is accomplished.

Well, taking a scalpel to the problem all these past attempts hasn't worked. That leaves a fire ax.

That happens when you hand the scalpel to those who would be shedding their own blood (money/power/influence). Very few cases of surgeons operating on themselves...... (One guy in Antartica, did an appendectomy)

Next D President will re-create the Dept of Ed on their very first day. I'll take any and all action on that statement.

Expect letters tomorrow, a coworker was offered a promotion and was advised to not take it because it would put him in the probationary category.

Next D President will re-create the Dept of Ed on their very first day. I'll take any and all action on that statement.


One can only hope that what is being uncovered will remain fresh in people's minds for a very very long time motivating them to vote for those that will uphold the laws of the land that protects the people from such shenanigans from ever happening again.

Always thought a probationary period was for new hires only? Does not compute to put a long time employed person that is promoted on probationary status.

One can only hope that what is being uncovered will remain fresh in people's minds for a very very long time motivating them to vote for those that will uphold the laws of the land that protects the people from such shenanigans from ever happening again.
All we do is swing back and forth, not hopeful that trend doesn't continue.

Always thought a probationary period was for new hires only? Does not compute to put a long time employed person that is promoted on probationary status.
From what I remember and recently have read is that you are correct, the only possible exception being a move to SES position.

Pretty sure its any position classified as a supervisor.

And that link says -
A new supervisor is given a 1-year probationary period to demonstrate successful performance as a supervisor. At the end of the probationary period, the agency determines whether to retain that employee as a supervisor or to return the employee to a non-supervisory position.
So it isn't like being let go.
