Leather vest

I wanna be a SMIB
Where can I find a leather (doesnt even need to be real leather) vest or jacket for an infant. Ive searched everywhere I can think of. You moms with babies know where all the cool stuff is. Help, need size 6-9 months if possible

Go to the fabric store, buy imitation leather. Cut to the deminsions you want, use black (assuming black "leather") perm. marker to dress the edges.

No need to sew when making a vest. Using the fabric glue on the 2 minor seams at the shoulders works just fine. To make it a smooth joint, take a small piece of the material (say 1" wide x length of seam) and use it as a backer for the seam and just butt the seam together over top w/ 1/2 the backer under each side of the seam. This method works just fine. We've made Cub Scout vests in this manner for years and Cub Scouts are going to be harder on the vest than a baby.
