Do any of you shave left or right handed? I find I can't do decent job if I try it with my left, plus I tend to cut or nick the heck out of my chin. Also, I've found shaving in the shower is the way to go. Any comments?

I'm a lefty for almost everything. But if I go bowling, I use my right hand.

I still hold grocery stores in contempt for having righty credit card signature pens that don't let you sign without the wire thingy getting in the way. hmph.

Sometimes people wonder why I'm holding on to the gear shifter when it's an automatic. I don't know...I think it gives me the feeling of being in control...

I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I've always heard that if you keep your hand on the shifter you're actually shortening the life of your transmission.

 why not drive a stick? It really does offer much more control.

It's resting your foot on the clutch pedal that shortens the life of throw out bearing..

... and I write and eat left handed, throw a ball and shoot a pistol right handed, shoot a rifle left handed and can use a lot of tools with either hand.

Righty here - my left is totally dumb. Larry is a leftie and one of our daughters is, too. Makes it tough to sit in a booth at a restaurant.

Our family of 4 is split. Two righties and two lefties. We eat with our "match" when we are in a booth. My youngest's Sunday School teacher approached me last Sunday and said that I needed to work with him to master scissors. I asked her if they were "lefty" scissors and she was like....."Oh, well that might make a difference." :dork: I was tormented in school by my teachers for being a lefty. I had a few teachers tie my left hand to the chair in order to "make" me use my right. I refused and just sat there. My grandma would tell my parents that I was the devil's child because I was left handed.

Why do people keep using the wrong terminology? It's not right-handed and left-handed. It's right-handed and wrong-handed. You wrong-handed freaks need to just get over it, embrace your wrongness, and deal with being a mutant.

I"m a leftie. I have one left an one right-handed child. I tend to have to think about things before I do them because everything is made for right handed people. Even my coffee maker laughs at me..I tend to lead when I dance because my partner is doing it 'backwards'

I think it's fascinating the way righties think versus left-handed people.

Ambi for me. I write with both hands mostly my left but on a white board I sometimes prefer the right hand. I cut with my right. Throw a ball with right Kick a ball from the ground with my right but punting a football with my left. With archery I used to shoot right but found I am more accurate with left. I shoot a gun lefty and play guitar righty.
