I have to agree with you, I've been there quite often also and most times the food was great. Once I ordered a fish meal that was not what I expected and did not like it, they replaced the meal for me and offered to reimburse me, since I did eat the replacement meal, I paid for it. I've also seen a waitress get "let go" because she was doing a lousy job.

And I've seen them tell a waitress to serve food when she had oozing poison ivy all over her arms and hands. :yum:

Also depends on who's cooking that day. I tell you they have one cook I think is excellent.

I don't care for Lenny's food; but their old bartender (Sean?) was really nice. Someone said he's managing Petruzzi's now.


My little brother used to work back in the kitchen of Lenny's. That knowledge alone is enough to keep me from ever eating there again.

FOr one Prime Rib shouldn't come out of a vacuum pack, it shouldn't be individually sliced prior to cooking, and it shouldn't be grilled.

And I've never known any cook/ chef that actually cooked a prime rib that didn't season it.

A slice of Prime Rib should look raw, shouldn't have grill marks and shouldn't be brown or grey.. but RED or a dark pink. Your plate should look like the floor of a butcher shop..

You shouldn't have to chew, as a correctly prepared Prime Rib will just melt in your mouth, as the blood dribbles down your chin.

It was my sister's favorite cut (bloody and all) until she had a piece and chomped down on a big vein. :lmao: She was preggy at the time and probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

Note: This did not happen at Lenny's.

Just thought I’d share, Dad choose to go to Lennys last night for my parents anniversary – 14 of us in all and there were no complaints that I’m aware of. I hadn't been there in at least 5 years so the remodel looked nice.

Ah, & now we make assumptions. I don't believe I ever stated wether I worked there part-time, full-time...I only said something about it being seasonal.
I do have a "REAL" job. In fact i'm a accounts payable associate, working full time- bringing in $1,900 monthly & i'm a full time student. I believe that's pretty freaking great.
...But it's nice to know that you think people that wait on customers hand & foot to make a living don't have "REAL" jobs.

I find it funny how you are still talking about this over-exhausted topic, especially since I said I didn't want to argue about over it anymore-mainly because things were getting way off topic. & Then you have the nerve to try & insult me? Over the internet? Grow up. Get a life. Somebody might actually take your stupidity seriously someday.

People came to this thread to talk about their opinion of Lenny's, now just because you don't happen to agree with what I said, & blah blah blah-doesn't mean you have to act like a d-bag.

My sister got her master's degree and still worked full-time in a restaurant. (Ruby's!) The money was great (especially with what the rents went for back then) and she had her own beautiful place, fancy car, etc.

Once she hooked up with her soon to be (then) hubby, she was able to take a lower paying job and start her climb up the ladder (using her degree)

Times are different now and the living costs are out of line, but we do what we can do to make it.

Whether you like Lenny's or not is not an issue. You are working your butt off to further yourself. This is refreshing.

I guess I won't be seeing you at Lenny's. :lol:

Let me answer your question my mother and father took me to that restaraunt 3 years ago, They Paid! Okay and just because someone is going through hard times doesn't mean they've never had a decent meal in there life. And I deleted those posts because my prayers have been answered and i really don't need to hear all the BS about. SO THERE!:smack:
