I remember eating at Lenny's in the Late 60's and early 70's . I guess the original owner is dead by now! Does his family still own the place or did they sell out?

Lenny's son Dan has owned it since the late 80's. Great family and hard workers. Real small business ownership role models in St. Mary's.
I think it's an excellent place to eat. Since the rennovation was completed, Lenny's is near the top of my list.

Just so everyone here knows; bluebird is the owner of Lenny's. My true identity has been discovered by this extremely observant person.
Here's the deal. Lenny's has good food, it's a nice place to eat since they've rennovated, I know the owner and think he's a hard working blue collar guy who cares about his customers and anyone who holds a grudge for 20 years and bashes a place they haven't eaten at for that amount of time is an idiot.
You obviously have me confused with someone else!

Not a newbie and still don't like Lenny's. Lived in the county for most of my life. Waste of money as far as I am concerned.

That's exactly right. What's up with people who go somewhere ONE time and, if something's not right, won't give it a second chance?
Regardless, if Sindy and all the MPDs don't like Lenny's, it's no skin off my back. But the attacks on Dan personally, his wife and daughters was uncalled for and have nothing to do with the quality of the food or service at Lenny's. Grind your ax somewhere else.

Went about 4 years ago, it wasn't terrible but not great either. Seemed kinda pricey for what it was, never went back.

No but I can name a dozen restaurants who have better cream of crab soup.
