I do a lot of advil. A lot. Plus my prescribed meds. Can dogs take Advil? :eyebrow:

OMG. NO.... NOT AT ALL

NO ADVIL, NO TYLENOL.....

Ibupropfen (NSAIDS) will cause GI bleeding and kidney failure (this is why i tell everyone to leave out asprin)

Tylenol will cause liver failure.

I've read that in many places, a "mix" is usually healthier than a full-breed...

I think that's especially true when it comes to popular dog breeds. They get overbred and faults start showing up. You never know what you're getting with a mutt, but a dog's a dog whether it's got papers or not - it'll bring joy no matter what. :)

Well in that case, I have just one dog.

well if you have a house full of little pups... then they count as one dog each... :killingme

so... here is a question when he does walk does he drag/scuff his toes?

No, and the vet folded each paw under and let go and my boy righted his paw immediately on all paws.

has he lost muscle tone?

Not that I have noticed.

if you "tickle" his RIGHT foot does he kick his LEFT?

oops forgot to check this - will do later

Two middle nails on the rear legs worn more than other?

No

when he walks/runs looks a little drunk and rear leg give out and OR get crossed up?[/QUOTE]

Yup he wobbles at times, otherwise looks nomal

:yay:.... so you just ruled out DM

interesting.... cuz even the pinched nerve and blown disc would show a slow CP deficit.
