There is a new cherity called Ski Masks For Burn Victums. They are currently in the process of collecting ski masks.

You should be able to find lot's of ski masks in the parking lots in Waldorf...

Hey, itsbob and titsbob... I mailed a box of goodies out on Friday and I have a another box I'm sending today. I'd like to fill the next box with t-shirts as that is one think they have asked for that I haven't touched on yet. SSgt Morrow has 10 guys in his troop so I'm looking for some help in providing enough t-shirts for them all at once. They specified:

Under armor shirts in black or sand size XL

Wanna help?

Absolutely. I'll make a run to Wal-Mart during lunch today and pick some up. Want me to drop them off at your vehicle on my way back to my office?

Hey, I know that there is about 75 t-shirts downstairs from a charity event that my company did about a year ago. These t-shirts are the leftovers....just sitting in a box.....brand new......different sizes. The only snag is that they have our logo on them, plus the name of the charity event. If you think folks would want them, I'd be glad to box them up and send them over, too. I'm sure that I could get a go-ahead from my boss to do it, but I'll double-check. These shirts are a light grey with bright blue lettering.

Well, I didn't have much luck trying to get the Under Armor shirts like they requested. I did, however, purchase 12 extra large t-shirts in black and grey and left them in your car.

My excuse....I only went to one store (WalMart) during my lunch hour and they don't carry that brand/style, and I didn't have enough time to check other stores to see if they had them. Sorry. :bawl:

OK, I didn't see the size for the shirts, but I picked up 5 in various sizes, in Black and Sand.. one Small two Med, and three Large.

We are going to need help with the shirts.. they are $$$$$, and a platoon is anywhere between 30 - 45 men and women.

Have to wonder about the XL size.. those are awful big for someone that is in the Army and supposedly working out daily. I never wore anything bigger then L until I retired.

Do you have any information regarding the platoon? What type of soldiers are they? Which Unit etc..

I'd like to send out an e-mail to my group asking for some support, but I know they would like details.

-white ankle socks size9-12
-Boot socks
-Mach-3 razor blades
-Some of my guys are sure craveing fudge rounds, Im not sure what they are but...

OOPS, just saw where you mentioned 10 soldiers. SMALL unit.
That was one of the reasons I chose him... it was something I could work with. If I'm not mistaken... Catt has adopted a much larger unit from Maryland.

Agreed! I was talking about this to someone over the weekend. My take on it is that no matter what I send or who the person is that gets/uses it... they deserve it. It could be a guy that was/is a total azzhole back at home in the U.S. but knowing that he volunteered to put himself in harms way makes every penny I spend on him worth it.

I'm planning to ship a box out in January. I'm thinking it would be fun to scoop up all the pre-packaged Christmas cookies and candies that they put clearance after Christmas and mail them a big ole box of Christmas junk food... I was talking to my uncle a couple weeks ago and mentioned what we were doing. He had a tour in Vietnam and said the junk food is VERY important as it very much makes the guys think of and get a taste of home.
