No, normally when something comes out that I want I'll just trade in games I can't stand at Gamestop or something...every once in awhile I'll pick something up on a whim at Target....recently that was "Prototype"...man that was stupid...
Check out this site it Rocks... Basically it is Netflix for games... You basically rent the games for a montly fee and if you like the game you can keep it for a reduced price. Been a member for 5 years and it is nice. Video Game Rentals: Rent/Buy Wii,PS3,PS2,Xbox,360,PSP,DS,GC,GBA Games – GameFly.com

Devs are still learning how to make games for PS3, not to mention they are saying PS3 is more difficult to make games for. As far as paying $50 a year for Xbox Live it is well worth it. The online community is much stronger on Xbox then PS3. I had a PS3 for 2weeks last Xmas and took it back. I couldn't play Lil BigPlanet online because of the lag being so bad.. It is is not the exact samething. It is much easier to play games with friends online with xbox then PS3.
Sounds like some issues at home with the lag situation. I've played the same game and dozens more with no issue whatsoever.

My brother has had his Xbox replaced 5 times over now. Many of the guys I play with who had Xbox's in the past and converted have similar stories. You get what you pay for and I'm not keen on paying for junk in a box.

Not my connection 15 download 3 upload. Good try. I have several friends who have both and prefer 360. Dust is building up on that nice little blu-ray player.

Guess different strokes for different folks then.

I didn't really use my blue ray when I first got the PS3 but once I started using it I couldn't see a reason going back to regular old DVD's. Blue ray is amazing!

I have a 360 and Im terrified of it getting screwed up. I treat it like its made of glass. The first week I had it I nudged it a bit while I had a brand new game in it and it scratched a ring and made the disc unreadable.

Pissed me off so bad I had to replace the game because Microsoft would only refund my game for up to a petty amount (and it was gonna take a while) and I was already into it. Sooo where was I going with this?? Oh! I prefer 360 over PS3
I cant get past PS3's controllers... and now that I can connect to Netflix with my Xbox im really happy with it..as long as no one touches it. :starcat:

My Xbox 360 Dvd drive quit working. I bought an exact replacement for it on line.
I know that the Xbox 360 is designed so that the DVD drive works only with the particular game console it is installed in. Replacing a defective DVD drive with a replacement DVD drive does not work, since the replacement has a different DVD drive key, which the game console won't accept

The new PC board will have to be "Flashed" with the serial number. Toget around the Flash problem, I removed the PC board from bad unit and installed on new unit but it still did not work. I took it to Play 'N Trade in Lusby to have it fixed. It came back and they said they need to original PC board to get a code from it. The original board was already installed in the new unit.

Any ideas of where I can take it to so it can get fixed?
