There was a diner in NY we used to visit. Had a "O" gauge train that brought your food. I thought it was neat, but really confused as to which meal was yours as the train passed by.

Good thing the Olympia Cafe didn't use that method.

... a more quiet, polite and civilized time.
We would toss ice cubes in the deep fryer at the Peoples lunch counter in Wildwood Shopping center. Just to watch it boil over.
Miss Matty, thanks for feeding us silly stupid white kids 100's of cheeseburgers.
She road the bus in from SE Anacostia 5 days a week.
