lol! i know i have a cat like that too! I talked to my husband too just a min ago and he really doesn't want to foster we have 3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 birds, and a water dragon. So we are just going to take care of her and after the babies get her vetted. He has a hard time now walking in the house without being tripped haha! actually we all do!

AND..

that would include spaying and neutering of the kittens and being responsible for placing them in homes. They also check the kittens for feline leukemia/AIDS and if they are positive, we don't go any further with them. They are euthanized prior to spay/neuter.

PAWS is a great group, they provide wonderful support and have been around for a very long time. :yay:

cattitude, i want to thank you for taking the time to talk with me. I did talk to hubby we decided not to foster, we have so many animals now. I will just take care of her and get her vetted after the kittens are born and weaned. Unless of course there is someone that wants to foster her.

well kitty must have had the babies last night sometime. I am not sure where, but when she came to the door this morning she was not pregnant anymore.

Do you know where they are? Please keep us updated, if I can help let me know. I am kind of stuck right now, but I maybe able to take them in 3-4wks.

Is there any way you can follow her to see where she goes? Maybe you could get the kittens.

I figured that would happen. Hope you can find them. I haven't heard back from my contact.

Hubby and i tried to follow her this morning and all she would do is rub up against us and talk, i am going to try again tonight to see if i can see where she goes.

when i get them do i move them if they are out of the weather or leave them alone? She is eating, i feed her but my concern is too that the rain is coming in, and she doesn't come to me in the rain usually.

I definitely will keep you updated and will try and see where they are. I want to make sure they are all ok, and how many there are.

Well, if the intent is to find them a foster home, I would put them in an enclosed space somewhere. Do you have a garage, spare bathroom, or anywhere else to put them? Of course you'd have to bring momma in too. A lot of times cats will move their kittens if you find them, so if you do find them, grab them while you can.

ok i will see if i can find them. About the best i can do is put them in a crate inside. I used to have an enclosed porch that would have been perfect, but it had to be taken down last month, and the other room, my daughter in law is in with her doggie and cat while my son is in iraq. so the space is limited at this time. The second bathroom was gutted and made into a nursery for my grandson.

sorry i didn't update this....the cat had the kittens sometime overnight and one of the neighbors had put out traps. I was afraid that momma would get caught in one so a friend of mine took her in. The other neighbors looked everywhere for the kittens, we could not find them anywhere. So about a week or two ago another neighbor saw one kitten in the road sitting there, we caught it and i called my friend and she came and got the kitten. She said it was like a reunioun with momma and baby. We never found anymore of them, but they are doing great in their new home :yahoo:
