2 good places in Leonardtown are Nooks and Monks and Cafe De'Artist and theres also your typical fast food joints too. The closest place to a Kohls down here is Belks department store or JCPENNY. Or you can take a trip to Annapolis or Waldorf for shopping nothing really down here in the sticks.

<img src="http://www.animac.ru/smiles/invision/13.gif"> Welcome to SoMD! I moved here from the Queen Village area of Philly! Originally from outside Reading (like Crabcake...who is leaving shortly <img src="http://www.animac.ru/smiles/invision/95.gif">).

Re: where to eat...depends on what you like to eat. I think Asahi (Japanese steak house) in California is yummy & entertaining.

Re: where to shop...you may have to drive to Waldorf if Target/Kmart/Walmart isn't your cup of tea.

Think I got a trainee last time I ate there. Guy flipped a spatula of hot rice in my lap.
Not saying I didn't enjoy it, was just suprised.

Hi Chief Jeff. I'm from Philly myself (far NE most of my life, then Wyncote and Audubon/Collegeville). Welcome! I agree, this is sure different from PA. I hope you find yourself at home here.
