And buy the chunk cheese and shred it. That bagged shredded stuff has so many additives to keep it from sticking together, it doesn't become an ooy gooy stretchy yum on pizza.
you are 100% right. Growing up we always had to shred our own. The stuff in the bag does not compare. My son has been watching YouTube videos on how to make our own.

Wife did her seafood chowder (taters, corn, chopped shrimp, chopped sea scallops, blue crab claw meat, a little fried bacon, half &half and spices). It was great I downed two large bowls and looks to be about 4qts left.
