Framed 3 times since 2004? God, that doesn't even cover his crack binge....You'd think that the white man would target someone like Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton, not stupid ass Marion Barry. The white man doesn't need to frame him, he's stupid enough to take care of it himself.

I think he should be the poster child for the NAACP. He's been convicted and yet comes across as this hero for the minorities. I would be embarassed to have him represent me in any fashion. A recent ruling by a federal judge means D.C. Councilmember Marion Barry may have to go to jail for violating his parole.
Barry pleaded guilty in 2005 to misdemeanors for failing to file tax returns covering 1999 to 2004. As part of his plea bargain, Barry agreed to file future federal and local tax returns annually.
Prosecutors now charge that Barry missed deadlines for filing federal and D.C. tax returns for 2005.

Barry said that he has "met every condition of his probation."
"They're trying to harass me and embarrass me, and they ought to stop it," he said.
