Safe Harbor Christian Counseling also offers a pay plan based on your income. They have offices in St. Mary's County and I believe Charles County. They don't push the religious aspect either. If you need or want any further info. please PM me. No matter what you decide to do best of luck to you both and I will keep you in prayer.

That's the key statement regarding my primary post. Yeah go ahead, pay them,

and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them....

Oh, I really feel you two are making great progress, but, I would like to continue with you both just a while longer...

and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them, and pay them....

From people I know who have been to marriage counselors... the divorce is cheaper.

Good advice, but we have rarely used it.
It just made our differences more vivid, and made us realize we were just basically tired of each other.
After 21 years, we have grown into the reality that marraige is about joy, not happiness.
Most of our current dispute is over raising our two boys. Sex is no problem; my spouse dont want it, and I dont care.
Worst part for me is money; I have quit caring that the better half doesnt care if the wolf is outside, so long as the remote works...

If you both are willing to go to a counselor and want to honestly find resolution, then you probably don't need a counselor.

If only one wants a counselor and is forcing the other one, the marriage is over anyway.

Either way - get honest and skip the counselor. It is either prolonging the inevitable or paying someone to do what you all can resolve with a little honesty and understanding.

Let me think back a bit.................

If only one wants a counselor and is forcing the other one, the marriage is over anyway.

Wicked: Hey wifey, wanna try marriage counseling. I'm having trouble understanding this.

Wifey: Sure, you jackass! I think that's a great idea! Set up an appointment, azzhole!

Wicked: I already did! It's only a few hundred dollars and they recommend that we split the costs.

Wifey: If you want it to work you'll pay for it. I don't feel like it.

Wicked: Um..............you took all the money...............how can I pay for it?

Wifey: Guess it's not gonna happen then, huh? Jackass!!!!

Wicked: :ohwell:

So ended my journey into marriage counseling.:diva:
