In a sense he is winning. By engaging him in conversation and asking his opinion, giving him any attention at all, we make him what he is. Yes, I know I am one of the worst offenders at giving him any attention, but it's true. Without acknowledgement of his posts, we could demonstrate that he has no voice. He'll get progressively more beligerant, more astonishingly stupid - in effect he'll try harder to get our attention. and, then, he'll dry up and blow away.

I do believe this is a twisted way of saying the same thing that I already said.

That no one can stand against me and I am the master at it.

Others err by trying to win and I only try to get the correct message out.

It is only a competition to the foolish while I walk with the prize.

The reason I do so well is because I stay on the moral high ground so I do not pretend to be better than anyone else.

Others that try to down play Martin Luther King Jr., and then promote white rebels as a replacement - are just giving me glory.

He thrives on the confrontation. He's the type that is only in the fight to give credence to his existance. No sane person could possibly believe half of what he says he believes, especially when shown where he's wrong. I don't think he really believes it. I think he was so ignored as a child that he has to get attention in some way. He talks about how he stayed around after painting on the walls like a temper tantrum baby so that the police would come get him. He wanted the confrontation to give SOME meaning to his otherwise meaningless existance.

Most of us get some sort of meaning out of our lives through our families (he deserted his), through our good deeds (he has none), through our work (he's never held a job for any period of time), etc. Jimmy gets meaning to his existance by having people dignify his words through responding to him. Clearly not too many people want to do that in real life, so he does it here and several other message boards.

It's pitiful and shameful that our society lets someone like this live without structured mental care, really.
