It looks like I have a new outlet for my own amusement. Let's overwhelm 833-979-2266 with important items like "a lady got within 5 feet of me at the Wal-Mart, do I have the Covid?" Sorry gotta go my neighbors just came close to my driveway, unmasked and coughing, I have to make that call.

this is the best idea I’ve read on this forum in awhile! Why didn’t I think of this? Anywho - thx. Putting this number in speed dial. Preceded by *67 of course to make sure I am anonymous....

Local health officials and, if necessary, law enforcement officers will follow up on reported concerns and take appropriate action, according to Maryland State Police.

Anyone violating the governor's executive order could be charged with a violation of that order, which carries a penalty of up to one year in jail, a $5,000 fine or both.

Reading that story, particularly the part quoted, reminded me of this video an the story of this officer.
The videos might be a bit long, because I don't think he's normally a spokesperson, but taken at face value he has respect for the constitution above all other documents and put his job on the line to make his statement.

Personally, I think it speaks to his serving his country in the Army, and then in law enforcement.

Nothing will happen no one can tell you that you have to wear a mask and breath your own carbon monoxide gases and then get legionnaire disease and die from that then your loved ones will be told it was the KUNG flu...lol

For all of you who've said "There oughta be a law", well now there is one. Y'all should have seen this coming, in fact I'm surprised it took this long with the number of scolds there are among us.

And, truth be told, there has always been a substantial number of individuals among us who live to report their neighbor's transgressions -"wrong" color paint on the house, grass a quarter inch too long, too many cars, cars which don't reflect the specialness of the neighborhood, etc. This just gives those people one more thing to See Something, Say Something.

As a note, the complaints I listed, as well as legions more, are all ones I've seen over the years.

I will only ask this, if you go into any establishment, PLEASE do as they ask.
The county and MSP make daily visits to bars and restaurants. Literally measuring the distance between patrons.
I guess the "gotcha" is they are enforcing "Health Code" violations on the business, not the individuals.
Sort of how you sign away your rights when you accept the privilege to drive on the roads.
They aren't going to fine you, they are going to fine and threaten imprisonment on staff and owners of local businesses.

I thought George Floyd should have just obeyed the law and he would be alive.

Or who cares about stop and frisk if you aren’t carrying guns or drugs ?

Just cooperate if you get pulled over Or you get what you deserve.

So shouldn’t the same logic apply. ?

Follow the law and no one will call the hotline on you.

Why can’t you guys be consistent for 5 minutes?
